Met Hull's finest on the car park of their old ground, first game of the season 88/89.
They didn't get chance to ask the time though on that occasion
 
Remember a Monday night sky game v Wimbledon at a practically deserted Selhurst Park. Would have been between 94 and 96 as I was working in Surrey then, which is why I went

I sat in my seat surrounded by hundreds of empty seats, then a couple started making their way towards me checking seat numbers and I knew what was gonna happen.... "sorry mate you're sat in my seat"..... ycnmiu

I was on that rickety old 1950s model, getting back to Manchester, around 5am, just in time for the first train to Whaley Bridge the following morning.
I would guess there were more than 40 blues (possibly 100), but not many more.

I think the specials ran for a few more years. I definitely recall a 2-2 draw at Luton in 91-92
 
Darlington away in the cup on a cold Dec Friday night about 98, Dickov equaliser in a 1-1. A few hundred in the city end.

That must have been our first FA Cup 2nd Round Tie since WW2 and beyond?

I was on a half full coach from Stockport,(Alan Potter was the Supporters Club steward) and I only went because it was a new ground.

I would guess a few more than 200 blues, but it was definitely a cold and horrible occasion.

We had the terracing behind the goal AND the side behind the dugouts. There were at least a thousand - maybe 1500.
 
I remember going to the swamp could of been 86 ? against bury in the league cup not more than six thousand there from what I can remember.

I remember that game, it was definitely December, you had an inflatable snowman and decided to sing "walking through the air" in a high pitched voice. I thought the special was pretty busy that day. We had plenty of time to play cards, I know that much.

Yes..... Sadly that tune I was trying to get going didn't take off.....
Funny thing about that card game onnthat day I never forgot was I had the perfect hand I knew would win the pot..... we pulled into Boscombe station not realising that is the station we were to get off...... I insisted we played the hand as I knew I'd win..... we were the last off as I pocketed all the 5p's......

I remember something similar happened at the Watford cup replay, the money was rolling all over the floor.

I remember the Watford cup replay another draw then a toss of coin in the centre circle for the second replay Paul power pumping the air as we’d won the toss to play at home …. We got beat .

I was there 2-0 win. Think Paul Stewart scored both goals
 
87/88 Millwall away at the old den. Saturday game 3 o clock kick off, we won 1 - 0 and there was about 50 of us in the away end max.
