Comparing Newcastle's business to Brighton's is almost apples and oranges. Newcastle have been smart in the market, sure, but Brighton just made their club-record signing of 30M this summer. Newcastle have bought three players this summer alone that exceeded that.

Newcastle and Brighton are very different but both getting great value from their acquisitions.

Personally I think we are in danger of getting ripped off by West ham with Paqueta. He seems reasonable but not outstanding and way over priced, unless they compromise, say with a deal with Philips?
