That's a horrendous demand by WestHam and City are correct to backoff.

But going to West Ham after Rice transfer demands is quite silly though almost a waste of time.
Its same like going to Napoli or Spurs and expecting ADL and Levy to be reasonable esp when you are not planning to do a Boehly and give in to everyone demands.

Don't we have scouts in portugal or France to bring someone new from Benfica or Sporting or Lyon or Marseille or Monaco. These teams always seem to have some young portuguese or french 19year old who would be worth 80 million in two years time!

Clubs just don't need to sell their best players anymore and if they do they will just put a ridiculous valuation on them that we won't be prepared to pay.
