I got this week's acca from Lucas Paqueta
If this were true, why did WHU not just accept the initial £70M offer and get him off their books for a profit before the story broke? The elephant in the room. West Ham and the EFL allowed the City bidding process to proceed when both must have been aware of the pending investigation. Is this at all ethical? If not, how does this impact the 115 charges? Surely now all charges must be dropped immediately.
Sly must be absolutely gutted we hadn't already completed the transfer.

If im honest, unusually, i have to say didnt even notice him last season so the price quoted was a major shock. Totally agree apart from i think we dodged a shell more like.Dodged a bullet not signing this lad. We were going to overpay for him anyway so quite glad. He’s decent but he’s not that good.
Do that to the 'we buy any car' jingle and i think you're onto something.I got this week's acca from Lucas Paqueta
Think the unusual pattern would be getting over 5 minutes game time.Has anyone checked Kalvin Phillips family and friends betting habits? ;-)
Doubt they knew. Maybe would have already flogged him off if they do, or told us absolutely no if there were instructions from the FA to not sell him.Weird that West Ham didn't bite our hands off as soon as we came calling
