Certainly the due diligence part of any multi million pound deal in any sector of business needs to be thorough.

Hopefully football is no exception to this practice.

Football has been bent as a nine bob note since day one of it's existence. The game has been built on 'brown envelopes' since the day brown envelopes were invented.

It's all a matter of scale.

Funny that in Blatter's retirement year 2 world cups were announced for the first time in FIFA history.
why have one brown envelope when you can have two for half the price ?
