Yes, I quite liked him at Swansea, and even now at City, eventhough he seems to have lost a bit of his confidence. But always thought his feet were better than his head.

Have a look at this compilation mate, I counted 8 headed goals there

Then there's his headers against Swansea, Palace and Sunderland for us this season.

Cheers for the video but I'm not authorized to see it apparently.

Sorry mate, was talking from the top of my head, you're probably right.

Just needs a lot of work on his passing for that, the rest is pretty much all there.
For me his passing is not so much the problem, I think his passing is actually quite decent. It's just that first touch that often puts him in trouble, but once he's comfortably on the ball I think he's excellent.
Question I ask myself is if it would be a bad thing for City to have a striker that doesn't contribute much in build-up when you've already got Silva, De Bruyne etc.
Sometimes you just need someone at the end of it to convert all that combination football into a goal.

One thing you'll notice about Blue Moon is how quickly you are corrected. Always check your facts. For some advice just PM the owner of the site, Damocles.
Cheers mate, I'll keep it in mind!
Maybe it's just the typical City short combination football that mislead my perception a bit, not a lot of chances for him to use those heading skills while it can be such a powerful weapon.
De Bruyne is one who likes to cross but often low crosses except corners.

I think city often uses Bony as someone to pass to on the counter who then holds up the ball for a few secs as the attacking players move up after which Bony pases it back.

Exactly but I don't see it leading to a lot of goals, bar at home.
Lukaku would perhaps offer different options in away games.

Eitherway i think city can use a better brute at front for when things are a bit cluttered in the box and Lukaku has a good profile for that, but we also have a lot of players who can be good in the small space so it would be usefull if the brute could pass fairly well i think. Eitherway what Lukaku has less in technicals he just has more in sheer beastness so i think it still would be a fairly good option, plus Lukaku is young enough to be further tutored. Won't be cheap though not that it matters much, not sure if he will want to play second fiddle after Aguerro he will want to be on the pitch for most games i guess.

I hate the fact that some City fans are taking on the mentality of how the rags fans used to think (and many of them still do)

Everton plays really to the strenghts of Lukaku. His passing abbilety is not Lukaku's strong point, so Everton rather will play to lukaku at the very end of an attack rather than using him much in the buildup game and that works rather well for them, but i don't think we would addapt our style of play so much for Lukaku and that he would need to be able to help in the buildup too.

Lukaku would play much better in your side. We do not play to his strengths at all. We play a passing game, he receives the ball with his back to goal and that's where he's weakest. He's improved immensely but his greatest strength is having the ball played in front of him so he can charge to goal. Check his goals against Stoke, for example. He'd get much better service in your side because you actually have a playmaker in players like Silva. The closest we have is Deulofeu, but he's always out on the wing.

With Sergio's injuries and the form Lukaku has been in last year now, is it maybe time to cash in on Kun. Lukaku is young, hungry and already shown that football is more important than glamour when he moved to Everton for first team football.

Everybody keeps banging on about Kane atm, and I understand why, but Romelu has more to his game and is the same age.

Another Mourinho dud to go with KDB
