Great story for their fans. Fair play to them, they're loving the dream.
Just posted that in the Burnley thread (didn't realise there was a Luton one), but It's riduclous they are posponing games over a month away.
Are City the the last team to score 10 in a match? They have done supremely well to get the the PL but they are going to suffer some serious drubbings this season .. Hope City put 10 past em, both games in the PL and in both cups …
:-)
I don’t think any team has scored 10 since we thrashed Huddersfield …Are City the the last team to score 10 in a match?
The only solution to the problem would have been Luton playing at Milton Keynes which is a Premier League standard ground. Yes Luton are going to build a new stadium but it would make much more sense to play at a Premier League ready ground.Surely if a clubs ground is not fit for Premier League football whilst competing in the Championship then that club should be told they cannot take their place in the league if promoted.
Don't think Luton expected promotion. Think they are stricter down the pyramid with ground conditions.didnt Sutton have to install grass pitch to allow a promotion. And have manyoo, dippers installed big screens yet?The only solution to the problem would have been Luton playing at Milton Keynes which is a Premier League standard ground. Wimbledon had to play at Crystal Palace for years. The Premier League need to start have a minimum requirement at least 15,000 seater stadium.
If the clubs get so much money for playing in the Premier League then they can surely afford to build a new stadium or build new stands.
As United’s and Liverpools grounds don’t meet the PL requirements of having big screens, I agree wholeheartedly that an example should be made of them, and their ‘special dispensation’ (wtf!) should be revoked and they be given a year to put them in, else expelled from the PL for even more egregious rule breakingSurely if a clubs ground is not fit for Premier League football whilst competing in the Championship then that club should be told they cannot take their place in the league if promoted.
I think they are in a Catch22 situation. If the clubs get so much money for playing in the Premier League then they can surely afford to build a new stadium or build new stands.
