Sure, we have a few Einsteins, and I think many men try hard to be decent people, but men are most definitely the scourge of the human race.

As a man, I would, of course, have to.

I count myself within the group of men who try to be decent human beings, but I don’t ignore the fact that as a species, and sex, we are the most destructive living force on earth.

Its a bit of a myth that everyone in the "caring professions" truly care. I don't have a view either way about whether they are implicated or not but the most salient point about them being "medical doctors" for me would be the knowledge that brings not whether it makes them incapable of doing bad things. Harold Shipman's patients might agree.

The facts on the ground make it practically impossible the McCanns had anything to do with it. Their story is far from ideal and paints them in a questionable light but it is a huge leap from there to the point where they killed her, intentional or not, and managed to hide the body / remove the body / dispose of the body.

The circumstantial evidence proves there is zero chance they hid the body. She must have left the area that night in a car - no other plausible explanation. The McCann's did not have a car. If someone suggests they conspired with someone with a car then 1, there is no evidence for that and 2, see one.

Blimey one Bad apple. Most people in that profession care about people otherwise they wouldn’t do it. To think otherwise would be a concern every time you visit the doctors, that can’t be a good situation

Most isn't all. I've been a (psychiatric) nurse for over 30 years and seen enough to confirm my view. Most in the caring professions care but not all and circumstances can change anybody.

i think we are talking about Doctors here. I must say that I trust them implicitly and would like it to remain that way unless I experience something different. There are bad apples in all jobs

Just because they’re doctors should not give them a pass. Unfortunately this seems to have given them one. A fucking travesty in my book

If evidence was available to charge them they would of been. As it happened in Portugal I am unsure if a crime of neglect exists there.

Personally I think parents smoking with kids in the car is as bad as the Mcaans leaving their kids alone, And both those scenarios went on pretty regular back in the day. It's cost them a child for doing it.

That 4% may as well be a gaping chasm. That's one in twenty five questions in a range of environments judged incorrectly. Say you were innocent, even if you went in all "I have nothing to hide" the lie detector may say you were lying.

Then what?

No there's a reason they don't use them in a court of law and they are only the domain of entertainment shows. To use one in these circumstances would be wrong and could lead to the victimisation of an innocent person.
