Actually what they did was have a meal after they'd put their kids to bed, kind of like what an awful lot of people do.the point is mate they didn't, a gross error of judgement which will affect them for the rest of their lives, they felt it was more important to have a few bevvies than to have their pesky kids getting in the way

You of my sympathy. :-)And mine.
I had a poor nights sleep, that’s my excuse for a rare slip up.
So it’s not egg and chips then? The egg is a duck egg and the 'bacon' is well done Serrano ham and broken up into small bits and sprinkled on the top. Chips are patatas bravas.
It's fucking mint!
It renders you incapable of offering a coherent explanation of your actions over the course of the evening. What's the twist?
Kids are usually upstairs though and not across a complexActually what they did was have a meal after they'd put their kids to bed, kind of like what an awful lot of people do.
And by fuck are they paying for it, daily, all the other seven Tapas seven did the same thing and must think how lucky they were it wasn't their child.the point is mate they didn't, a gross error of judgement which will affect them for the rest of their lives, they felt it was more important to have a few bevvies than to have their pesky kids getting in the way
why they couldn't have had them all in their buggies asleep by the side of them i'll never know. that's what we always did
It is. With a twist. So it’s not egg and chips then?
They didn’t feel bevvies were more important - they probably felt the kids were perfectly safe and were unaware an abduction was being planned.
That’s my main point.
I don’t believe the thought “sod the kids” entered their heads.
Fucking lol.Mmm how many kids each year are miserable , self harm and occasionally kill themselves because of obesity, how many lose their teeth every year , how many get type2 diabetes. I am not saying or even trying to suggest that if you give your kids sweets you are a rotten parent. My kids had some sweets .
But looking at it form what does harm to kids the number of instances of childhood abduction is vanishingly small , the number of cases of miserable fat kids is not.
Not at all just don't jump to insult folk who put their kids to bed have a meal within eyeshot of their apparent and check on them regularly.Fucking lol.
Ban sweets now!!!

Exactly. 60 yards as the crow flies or a 100 yard walk is not a short distance. I used to live in a house 20 yards from a pub and wouldn't dream of leaving the kids alone in the house while I went to the pub, especially leaving the door unlocked.Kids are usually upstairs though and not across a complex
It makes it normal behaviour.and that makes it ok, does it?
would love to know what you think their rationale was to leave them in a room and not have them with them regardless of whther they thought they were safe or not
It makes it normal behaviour.
My parents generation always put their kids out in front of the house to sleep in a pram, no one would have thought twice about leaving kids outside a shop in a push chair.
On the continent in holiday camps it is normal to leave your kids sleeping when you are having meal
