Yes, the weather forecast has improved steadily over the last week. The good thing is that evening forecast has also increased from 10 degrees to 17.

I've no chance of qualifying for a ticket for a European game, barring the odd one like Kiev, but reading the last few pages it sounds like an absolute pain in the arse.

I can see why they've introduced the proof of identity thing so to eradicate the black market for tickets, but why the collection abroad? Seems to me they are trying to solve problems that aren't even there.

The last 2 European games - Madrid home and away - have seen the ticket process turn into a nightmare for many, why exactly??

Yep, a bit awkward if you're on a day trip and you've not got a hotel room to stash your passport in once you've collected your ticket. When we played Bayern away in 2011 I was on the Singapore Airlines flight on the day of the game and flying back about 6 the next morning on the same flight. Had no digs booked so brought my coat and had my passport in the inside pocket. Trouble is, it turned out to be warmer than was originally forecast and was sweating my bollocks off during the day!

You need your photo ID (passport I would suggest) with you, along with your ticket to get into the stadium.

maybe we as fans should arrange a collection point for them to collect payment, this nonsense needs binning, just print the names on the ticket and send a wrist band along if we really have to wear them. Who else in society would have to endure such crap, cannot think of anyone.

As I read it, it's passport required for collection of tickets, but ONLY a photo ID for entry to stadium. So don't need to be walking around all day with your passport.
Seems so many conflicting interpretations.

That's correct but if you're on a day trip (I'm not), you've no choice but to carry your passport round with you all day.

Oh absolutely. If you were on a day trip you would be carrying around your passport all day anyway, regardless of the ticket collection, so it actually makes no difference?
Bit of a pain having collection near the stadium for those who had planned on spending the day around plaza mayor for example. Can't remember how far out of the centre the bernebau is?
