Madrid v City CL semi final 2nd leg

Shite. Pellegrini put all his eggs in the champs league basket and if we fail to get 4th he won't give a fuck. Much like some of the players tonight.
 
All I expect out of the team is to put in the effort that I would should I be fortunate enough to represent this great club
 
I don't think the we were playing to any kind of plan today. At first, we seemed to be sitting back, not pressing as we did in the first leg, trying to get away quickly, but failing because Yaya slowed everything down. Then they scored, we limped to half time. As the second half carried on we got more and more desperate but didn't have a clue, really. No one seemed to know what their role was. No one made any runs into the box all night. No one made any runs. It was utterly static. When Aguero dropped deep to get the ball and left us without a striker I was waiting for someone to tell him to get back up front. No one seemed to have a clue what to do. Very poor. We could have progressed to the final. We could at the very least have showcased some good football and a bit of spirit.

I cant wait either because it matters to me so much . yes we are hurting now but we need to get it together quickly and encourage our boys to get an important win that would put us into 3rd.

Sergio gets a free pass for lots of reasons but it's been a feature of our season that none of our big players have turned up consistently and especially when it mattered. Much as I love Yaya I wouldn't have played him tonight and put KDB in the middle with Sterling on the left. Not sure it would have made a difference though. Our failures have been a collective one even if we are predisposed to lump all the blame on one or two players.
