Madrid v City CL semi final 2nd leg

We really missed David Silva, didn't we? KDB was poor on the left and disappointing when Pellers finally made the change and shifted him to the middle. No idea why Sergio was dropping so deep other than it must have been in frustration that the only service he was getting were high balls lumped towards him. There's obviously something gone very wrong with Vinnie - brings to mind the likes of Ledley King and Jonatahn Woodgate, two other central defenders whose careers were ruined by constant injuries. But the saddest sight was Yaya. The game passed him by in both directions. It was obvious after just a few minutes that he needed to be hooked but you just knew that Pellers wouldn't make the change until the hour mark. All in all, a dispiriting night.

I broke no CoC so wind your fuckin neck in hard man, it is a common term so no i will not stop referencing it on your behest pal.
It's a poor reference mate-can cause a lot of offence even if you don't mean it. No need to cause unnecessary upset.

Pretty good summation.

And the players were sat on the floor dejected with their heads in their hands
Might have missed it but I didn't see one player of ours like that
Bayern knew they were the better team and had given everything. We gave nothing

Kompany, Hart, Aguero should be embarrassed to be associated with a performance like that in a Champions League tie. You are supposed to give everything. That's supposedly Pellegrini's philosophy. We talked it up, but I never believed in this City side. After the first month, we've been a joke ever since.

Back at the hotel now. As already stated pisser poor tonight I can take losing in fact hand on heart that's what I expected going into the game what I can't accept is in arguably the biggest 90 minutes in city's history that the players put in such an inept 'I can't be arsed performance ' as they did.
Go for it and lose 3 or 4 nil trying but to not even try to win the game the manager and every player needs to hang their heads in shame cos we were awful and totally spineless tonight

We have bought poorly and that reflects on the scouts we have ( need replacing with ones who know how to bring in the players that will be regulars and be consistently better than the opposition over a decent timespan ) , our medical set up needs overhauling and of course MP was not an appointment that was going to take us to the next level.

MP was a stop gap and his inability to motivate , lack of technical ability , lack of tactical nous , inability to play the right players in their best positions quickly strangled what little life was left in the side.

Kolorov, Sagna, Clichy, Zabba, Fernando, Navas, Delph , Bony , Silva , Kompany and Toure all need replacing preferably over the summer but certainly over the next three windows.

We will only finish fourth if West Ham and Manure bottle their last three games but I suspect at least one of them won't.

To rely on the likes of Norwich , Swansea , Bournemouth and Stoke is not a good thing.
Sagna, Fernando, Delph, Silva, Kompany, Navas are all players I'd keep. Kompany needs a Summer of rehab although he probably wont get it. In a way I hope he misses the Euros so he can concentrate on getting rest and then fit. Come to the conclusion over the season that Kolarov and Zab have gone. We also need some leaders on the pitch. There's no team spirit or fight. I think that comes from the manager. We're just drifting

Sadly tonight showed why Pellegrini going is 100% correct.

The team are playing in his image at the moment including tonight. He's too nice and we're too nice. I want a manager who's as pi55ed off as me when we're losing and have that reflected in the players attitudes. He's been great when it's going well and all's rosy but he can't motivate jack sh1t when it's not going our way.

That's it. I don't feel we've even played the tie.

That is down to the manager, the one you unconditionally back countless times...
sorry but yaya has been done for 2 years, yet he's persisted with what has been staring 99% of fans faces!!!

I do NOT unconditionally support the manager, I do NOT unconditionally support anyone. I support Mr Pellegrini in many ways but not unconditionally!!

I have said quite a few times over this season that I cannot understand why Toure is being chosen so I am not changing my tune. Toure plays when he feels like it, if you ask any of the Eccles OS they will tell you that I have said that for a long, long time, and had stick off some of them for saying it, but whenever I see his name on the team sheet I wonder which Toure is going to turn up and 9 times out of 10 it is the non-playing, non-caring Toure.
