I simply do not think Yaya should have started,if i ever found out that was contractual i would blow my fucking lid.

Personally I thought we were better when he was on the pitch then when he wasn't. Not that that is saying much.

It won't be a popular viewpoint but with the last sub I would have stuck Bony on for the last 10-15 mins. Not that he deserves it but RM are used to playing teams that pass it better than us and we were never going to create much score playing our usual slow passing game game. I'd have tried slinging more balls in the area and hoping his presence could lead to something. Unlikely I know but when what you are trying clearly isn't working, it may have been worth a shot.

He did what he has always done in Europe against quality opposition, amble around making no effort to get goal side of anyone, track runners or press, but instead leave us exposed time and time again. Unfortunately his positives no longer compensate. He is a liability in these games.

It was obvious last season he was finished but a season on and we're still trying to extend his shelf life. There aren't many alternatives due to injury but we haven't been proactive in dealing with Toure. Everyone knew that as he got older he was going to hit a brick wall given his physique.
