Went out wth a whimper, couldn't even do the basics right, midfield over run by 3 technical midgets, keeper didn't even have one save to make, the starting eleven picked was fine, the subs were fine, the players just weren't good enough

I've seen pensioners choose their own coffins with more enthusiasm than what we shown tonight. It'll be the same against Arsenal.
 
The players looked knackered, who does the conditioning do they stop work for holidays after Jan- every year...?
 
A fuckin disgrace, id rather us get hammered 4 or 5 & go out fighting as apposed to that fuckin wimper ov a non performance, why the fuck does it take us 10-15 5yrd passes to get over the hlf way line?? im fuckin fuming wiv that disgrace
 
poor gutless pathetic ect there is a need for clearout. but this game is the mirror of the season the unability to play with a hight tempo; the unability to come back you know 1 goal and its over and this is the the trade mark of the joker pellegrini even under mancini you felt the team will always try to score and come back and it happened many times now you watch the opposit team score first no need to watch just switch off.
 
That Joe Hart interview then was more than disappointment.

We have some serious issues in that dressing room right now, borne out by recent performances and then that tonight in the biggest game we have had.
 
Gutted but there was just zero tempo, we should've threw everything we had at them with 15 minutes to go but just looked pedestrian :(
 
Beaten by a better team, pure and simple.Our best players didn't have the greatest game, but that's to be expected against top class opposition. I dread to think where we'd be without KdB and Aguero though.

Navas wasn't too bad tonight, but we're miles off the PL, let alone CL.
