Our only hope is that West Ham don't get more than 5 points from their last three games and Manure don't get more than four.

That was embarrasing in so many ways. One of the worst performances ever in a CL semi-final imo. Did the players even want it? Did Pellegrini want it? Why didn't we move either Mangala or Otamendi up front in the end? We couldn't even get players into their penalty area. Disgraceful really. I'm proud that we came all the way to a semi-final but today we didn't deserve to be there. Never been so disappointed after a game as today. It was like we were happy to only lose 1-0.

Started absolutely fine. Decent job by Pellegrini. Ok setup. Aguero & Yaya in particular ruined the system by being shite.
Then Manuel made it even worse & the subs just turned it into a mess with Aguero coming back to try & fill the midfield hole. Joke.
Yaya was better than KDB (though that isn't saying much).

Don't remember a shot other than Fernandinho's, we got nothing and deserved nothing.
The man in charge is a fraud, plays a player who regularly breaks down in such a big match, one who is just a big fat lazy blob and sticks our most creative player out on the left wing.
Real Madrid wern't great but they didn't need to be - roll on next season.

And this is why prioritising champs league is always such a dangerous game with a quality thin squad.
Too many poor performances and a manager who doesn't inspire
We are back to fighting for 4th spot with a bunch of players who will now be even lower than they were before.
Mistakes in the transfer market of having no quality to support Kun (you cant rely on a 19 yr old at that level), no cover in midfield for an ageing toure and a complete lack of quality on the right hand side of attack/midfield have all heaped pressure on that paper thin squad.
Madrid either played well within themselves or were just pretty average tonight as they didn't do anything special...they have a number of quality options in attack but you could see that we lacked any sort of game plan from a manager who fails to install confidence or any tactical approach to the opposition to he is facing.......
Im not sure if anyone should be really surprised at the result due to the way we have been playing this season and most of last season as well.

We had no balls, looked like a championship side out there. Let it sink in that we had 1 shot on target over two games, one fucking shot. We're terrible and thank fuck the **** that's made us this terrible is off soon.

Hart, Navas and Dinho are the only players that played well. Resting our "star" players for a game we realistically had 25% chance of winning especially considering our league position has just been proven to be a colossal mistake. We said it then but the miserable fuck screwed us over.

We did great to get to the semis but we went out with a whimper and that's so frustrating. I can't believe those players couldn't find another 10% on top of what they showed tonight. WIth 5 to go put Otamendi up front. With 2 to go put Mangala and Fernando up front and throw the kitchen sink at them. Do anything but don't fail for want of trying.
