Madrid v City CL semi final 2nd leg

That was just mind numbing.

Pellegrini fucked off the FA Cup (which the rags might fucking win now) & 3 points in the league for that shocker of a performance.

The fact we didn't even test the keeper when we desperately needed a goal is just ridiculous.

At least we only have to sit through 2 more games under this fraud of a manager.
 
We prioritised the champions league and we end up going out in a insulting manner.

I can't wait till the summer and then all this shit can end.
 
We were quite simply terrified of Madrid and tactically inept in the process.

I'm not solely blaming Pellegrini but why on earth he allowed Kun to play in every position apart from a striker, when that was his position, I will never know. He should have had the bollocks to force him up top or sub him.

There was zero attacking threat tonight, absolutely zero. We played 4 passes when we could have played 1 just to deliberately slow the tempo down. The only was we were ever going to score was by a fast counter or by getting balls into the box and getting on the end of a loose ball. Unfortunately our whole game plan was set up to stop any of the things which would have gave us a chance.
 
What's the point? For all those going on, and on, and fucking on about this being the biggest game in our history....... Fuck off. We went out with a fucking whimper, and it's exactly what I expected. We've fucked the league off for this. To watch that bunch of cunts stroll to the final, and to watch Leicester stroll to the league. Fuck off, just fuck off. Stick this fucking over hyped trophy up your arse. English Champions first, anything else is a bonus.

Let's be realistic,we have 4/5 players that are up to it at the highest level. The rest need to be shipped out,there is a huge amount of work to be done. I'm not expecting instant success with Pep,in fact I think it will take him 2 years to get the squad he wants.
 
Very disappointed in the end. I really thought we'd do it. I even thought we played it the right way til the 70th minute - limiting Madrid to 1-0 and needing only one goal to go through. I just do not understand why we didn't have a go at them towards the end, that's the disappointment for me

If we cant get up for a semi final of the CL then.....what can we really say....just no excuse to play like that in one of the biggest games for the club!!.....we really do have problems...no one(other than Hart) can hold their heads up after that...I'm just hoping we also dont mess up the league...missing a top 4 place is unthinkable....
 
2 shots on target in 180mins of football, we deserved nothing from the tie...So far from the elite teams Pep will need to work miracles to get us there in his few years here.. None of our players would get in that Madrid side, only Joe Hart would come close.
