Is this the same lad who was stuck in the midst of Leeds fans in a game at Elland Road in the 70s/early 80s? Not sure if it was the cup tie or the game where they were throwing bananas at Alex Williams, but this blue was in there with them. The stewards dragged him out and tried to escort him to the blues paddock but, to the amusement of our fans, he was trying his best to get back amongst the Leeds fans from where he'd just been ejected!

It probably wasn't the Alex Williams' game mate as I was in the Leeds Kop that day. I don't recall any Blues making themselves known in the Kop that day. I do remember an arsehole dressed as Adolf Hitler leading the racist chanting though.

I remember that game for the Leeds fans pretending to applaud Williams as he walked towards the South Stand before launching en masse into a 1930s German style "Sieg Heil"
Spectacularly appalling, but as a sign of the times, I do remember some City fans around me laughing.

I wasn't having a go at him, far from it, and I travel/sit with blues from the south every game.

He is probably a more loyal blue than 95% of those who live in Manchester.
Would have thought he is seen him going back donkey's years, for me don't care where our fans come from,if we could get 55k locals in ground great if not i'll take fans from down south no problem.

I regularly share a train with him.

It'll no doubt upset some but he gets on and off at Milton Keynes.
I spoke to him a couple of seasons ago and he is retired now and living in Milton Keynes but said he was thinking of moving to Spain. I used to get the train with him when I lived down south in the eighties, we did it as a group booking with the London supporters club. He has worn all that gear everywhere even Millwall!
