It's not so simple to think stafford biter retriever aint...ive owned a stafford before people in m/c knew what they were..even know the dr. In the isle of man who owns the first ever written pedigree of the fusion between nuttalls bull and the wigan butcher brothers terrier...( it was only 'Stafford' cause that's where the first pdge was registered)
They got popular and got badly bred..they would never have been bred from if they bit an handler..
Certain lines of staffords are demics...invariably arriving from red nose tackle in puppy farm ireland in the late eighties.
Dogs mimmick whats going on in their drum...they work on essence, even the fat half pit berbull creatures sat with the big issue walhers are steady cause the owner is sat..steady...it's all the nature/nurture arguement all over again.
Its easily possible to have a well bred sbt ( especially the smaller lighter lines) submit to a yorkie offering it out..it all comes down to the dog knowing that its handler will be annoyed and retaliating f*cks up what a cushy number its kopped for...its why mistreated ones do well with older folk.
Red fox retrievers are a beautiful temperament...
