I’ve gone with Bernardo but on reflection probably should have gone with Fernandinho. Can’t be easy being that good and having the whole league wanting you booked for every tackle.

Fernandinho was superhuman. Bernie not far behind. Quality from Sergio. Dave a bit out of sorts, Sterling busy and great pass for the winner, but if he’d run the ball into Robertson’s shins once more I think I’d have screamed. Leroy a huge threat. Great stuff all round. Stick it up your arse Milner

Any other game this season would have seen fernandinho and Aguero get man of the match for their performances tonight, however it has to go to Bernardo who was absolutely everywhere

Vinny, fernandinho and aguero all excellent tonight but went for Bernardo he was everywhere.

I normally vote and then find my choice is in line with the top one or two but I’ve got this one well out of synch tonight.

I was astounded by the effort and energy of Sterling, Bernardo, Fern and Serge but I went for the player who scored our winner, helped in the first goal, and generally terrorised the Scousers - Leroy is my MoTM
