I image most people who are saying B.Silva were match goers tonight. Watch the game back and you will see how crucial Fernandinho was to that win. He was immense.

And I don’t mean to take anything away from B.Silva; his desire, work rate, commitment and intelligence was vital too but Dinho absolutely controlled the middle of the park and was so key in protecting our backline. Also his vision and decision making in turning defence into attack was phenomenal.
No, people are saying Bernardo cos he was magnificent, as was Fern. Not voting as I can’t split them

Well considering that Liverpool’s strikers were blocking passes to Fernandinho in the first half preventing his distribution I’ve got to give it to Pep for dropping Bernie in alongside him at the start of the 2nd half and they just couldn’t chase Bernie, which freed Fernandinho up. Fern’s chasing and tackling was of course excellent
Sane frustrating in 1st half, couldn’t keep the ball in he and Dave kicked up the arse at half time. Much improved in 2nd half. Aguero excellent.

Can’t vote for Pep so it’s got to be Bernie, worked for the win and he and fern were the difference between the 2 sides.

Bernie. The lad must have ran a half marathon tonight

Fernandinho OWNED that midfield. However, as someone else pointed out, Pep dropped Bernardo in beside Fern to help out and he, too, was magnificent. Aguero was the other standout for me, amongst a team all up for it.

Should have been 4-1 as the icing on thr cake, but no complaints. City showed they are a class above.

Now to claw back those four points...

Aguero was so immense. Tonight and against Southampton he just seems to be so up for it. Popping up on the wings etc linking play. Fingers crossed he can maintain his fitness between now and the end of the season.

It was a toss up between b.silva and Fernandinho I went for Bernardo apparently covered just under 13km tonight exceptional was all over the pitch like a man possessed Fernandinho rolls Royce of a player unbelievable..
