Imagine what the city centre skyline will look like in 5-10 years time with another 10-15 towers if all the approved towers get built.

Old Trafford really is a shit looking stadium from the outside. It’s not much better looking inside.

It does.
I like glazed cladding, but brick always looks better. Especially in Manchester with it’s Victorian red brick buildings.

A few of those were discussed and approved at the same committee meeting as the north stand. I watched them in the background while waiting for our one to come up. Man, people really hate students/student housing. They say they don't, but then show they do. There was a SimpsonHaugh voted for refusal that planners had supported, not included in the above, so might look up how that ended up.
