The Gardens is a shithole. The most depressing part of the centre of Manchester, in my opinion.

And sadly Jim for train passengers to the City one of their first impressions.

I know it’s a matter of taste but if modern buildings looked as stunning as the town hall and such like, then Manchester really would look beautiful.
