Manchester’s Changing Skyline

SLP COLOURTONE are proud to have been a part of this iconic project at Factory International arts venue in Manchester, UK working alongside Aggregate Industries UK SRM ConcretePlanit-IE

Personally this was a massive one for me, growing up in the 90’s, listening to the music, and having been involved in the dance scene, I wanted to try to help the aesthetics of this project be the very best they could be.

At SLP Colourtone we helped the architects and Aggregate Industries, design and supply the Artevia Natural Exposed Aggregate concrete, for this brand new iconic arts venue.

"The Factory name inspired by Mancunian legend Tony Wilson, co-founder of the independent label Factory Records and Haçienda nightclub. It doesn't get any more Manchester than that!

The 7,000-capacity venue is nearing completion on the site of the old Granada TV studios, where it will host theatre, concerts and exhibitions from major national and international names.
Proud to be serving Manchester

Some drone footage of Middlewood locks and Oldfield wharf in Salford. Not far from Salford University and Cathedral. It is a short walk from Manchester City centre. This area has continued to be redeveloped over the last few years. Featured around an old lock and views of the city, it is a nice area.

Mancunian Way is an urban motorway on the southern edge of Manchester city centre. It was opened in 1967 and extended in 1992. In recent times it has become a corridor for new residential developments, including tall buildings, some of the tallest outside the London area.

Incredible drone footage courtesy of a site team member. Swan House has been an amazing site for us and it's been great to see it become one of Manchester's big builds.
