Hey all, resident Yank here. Been watching City since I was eight years old and sixteen years later, I'm finally coming to see a game at the Etihad this year. Thing is, I'm trying to book the plane tickets as soon in advance as I can. My question is: how much does Sky change the fixtures? I've never had much reason to pay attention since I haven't been able to attend. Would this be mainly switching kickoff times and switching between Saturday and Sunday? Or will they be moved by several days?

Fairly often mate. As stated they're apparantley due to release their first set of changes on 8th July, this normally covers the period up to the end of November (I think). Come November time they will release another load of chages covered up until February or so,thereafter the last load of changes will be announced.

Someone else may be able to clarify better but im sure that's right enough.

Expect a load of our fixtures to be Sunday fixtures, they normally are

If it is Everton at home you are coming too, most probably will be Sunday or Monday as have a Champions League game mid-week before.

Thanks for all the responses. Looks like I should wait till July (even though i got all excited for today ha!). And yes, the ideal would be to come in October, but November seems to be the better option for us.

So when do Sky change them again?

Someone said 8th July earlier in the thread. I'd imagine ours will be moved, just hope it's a Saturday 5:30 for ale purposes.

Ours has the potential to be the Monday night fixture imo. Hope not though.

With BT having the first picks our first game against the toon could be a 12.45pm kick off on the saturday as no other games really stand out. I can live with that - don't want the Monday night slot either!

I think we can take it as read that our game, them at Swansea, Chelsea v Hull and Palace v Spurs will all be televised. Maybe Arsenal v Villa too if it looks like Arsenal are going to make some big signings. Just hope we're on Saturday, send a message to the rest of our rivals by spanking Newcastle.

happy with the fixtures, chance for good start and home start, finish and couple at xmas as well,no reason we cant keep up our good home record.

If I were a neutral scheduler I'd be moving our game and United's but the most attractive game would probably be Crystal Palace v Spurs.

Typical.

The one day, the ONE DAY, I knew I had something on (a wedding, so out all day) and they put the derby on that day (away one, 1st March). My only hope now is Sky or BT move the fixture to the Sunday or Monday. If they just put it as an early Saturday kick-off then I'm screwed!
This fixture also clashes with the League Cup Final (2nd March).

If one of us is in this final then the away derby will probably be moved back into the title run-in, depending how we both go on in Europe.

This shows you how to add iCal to your phone <a class="postlink" href="http://www1.skysports.com/calendars/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www1.skysports.com/calendars/</a>

Thanks for this will have a dig.

Shame City's webcal feed is a bit crap

Shows no events in iOS calendar (although I think this is a bug in iOS)
BST events an hour out (eg. 4pm KO)

BST events are an hour out (for Google calendar and iOS calendar) for the Sky Sports one too!

Hi. We're working on fixing the times. They should auto-correct in your calendar when the changes have been made.

Cheers!

If only @mcfcgeeks would do the same!
