MOTD had to mention the 115 charges when discussing our title win.
Don't worry, for all the hyperbole about us ruining the league, when pep leaves we'll be nowhere near as dominant. Money has helped but it's not the dividing factor between us and yourselves/liverpool/united etc, it's pep
Didn't have to say anything but they can't help themselves. If he hadn’t mentioned it, it would have been the elephant in the room for a lot of people. As someone said, it was carefully scripted so that not much emphasis was put on it.
Annoying thing is is when it happens we'll just get stick, no one will connect the dotsThis, and it so rarely gets a mention, but is so obvious.
You might be right - as we’ve seen with other great managers, once they leave, it creates a hole
To be honest, I do wonder if Pep thinks should he win the treble, what else is there to achieve! Especially with the FFP allegations, he might think it’s not worth the aggravation?
Who knows? Anyway, enjoy the victory. Tomorrow is another day.
My daughters first game was 3-2 against Spurs. We were defending champions I on the other hand grew up in 80s and 90s and up until the age of 13, I thought we called Manchester City nil.Too true mate. My dad supported City through thin, I at least had the Mercer-Allison years to enjoy as a teenager, my son and daughter grew up knowing only despair and being mocked at school but my grandson has known nothing but unchecked success. Long may it continue.
