Manchester City - Premier League Champions 2022/23

You understand why? Because the premier league brand is only attractive if it’s competitive - if you win it every year, people will switch off and no one will bother watching MOTD.
Not true. You follow your club through thick and thin. Again, were people saying this when the Rags won 6 out of 8? No they didn't. Did Liverpool fans stop going when their biggest rivals were hoovering up title after title - nope. It's nonsense.

I wouldn't give up mine. You can't be a true fan if you give up your ticket that easily. After endless years of crap I am not even half way to being satiated. Continuous and orchestrated press attacks will add fuel to our fire. We are a long way from being happy.

I wasn’t being wholly serious - I’ve had a season ticket for 35 years (before football became fashionable) and from a very early age ( standing in the boy’s enclosure) I turned up to pay at the turnstile.

For you old blokes, George Eastham was our captain back then.

I don’t believe there is a MSM conspiracy against you. Actually the press are pretty complimentary about your supremacy.

I was thinking about it ... a true sporting legend would acknowledge the brilliance and hard work done to build City up to its present form.
Has this turd ever said ANYTHING at ALL EVER in this regard? This rancid classlessness reeks from ever pore of that club.
Not in my fucking lifetime hahahahahaha

Were that to be likely I’d probably give up my season ticket after your next 2 titles as would many fans…what’s the point?
Think he’s only messing mate. That’s never happening, and I think even I’d get a little bored if it did! Unlike what we’re seeing in the Bundesliga right now with Bayern winning 10 in a row, no team in English football history has ever won more than 3 on the bounce. It’s entirely possible that we make it 4 in a row next season but beyond that, even a Guardiola managed City has the odd off season. Also, when we’re looking at replacing outgoing players if we don’t get someone in who’s the right fit, the club are prepared to wait a season if it means the team might regress a bit. This happened in 2019 when Kompany left and we played Fernandinho as a makeshift CB in 2019-20. Liverpool won the league at a canter and we didn’t replace Kompany until the following season when we signed Dias.

Club World Cup next year if we win CL plus a second CL hopefully are things he might want to achieve. Might think there’s nothing left to prove after that. He has two more full seasons on his contract and I would be amazed if he decided to go early. Hopefully he’ll extend again but might fancy a new challenge in 2025, maybe in Italy or as the Spain national team manager.

Given his Catalonian sympathies, I’d find managing Spain might not be his cup of tea!

I think it would be a good thing for someone else to win it next year. Even as a Blue it wouldn't be a good thing for the league for us to win it for a 4th time in a row. However I genuinely don't remember any stories about ruining football when the Rags were pissing it year after year.

I think your lot just need a wee bit more strength in depth. I still think it wasn't good to go out of Europe as the only focus was the league and maybe that sole focus was a problem.
Surely that depends on who it is who wins it. Perhaps Brighton or West Ham, even though we all now know they aren't minnows but rich. What the press want is for City not to win it but utd, liverpool or Arsenal. If they truly wanted competition none of those teams would be in the top 4 but they wouldn't like that.

This team is built to win, the entire club is built to win our setup compared others is levels above, honestly see us going on a Juventus level of dominance in the league if Pep stays, he seems like he's not slowing down at all.

The more trophies, the more records we break, the more players making their name at the club, we are making history. A new generation of talented footballers will grow up wanting to play for Man City.

Fuck that I want twenty in a row!!!
