Manchester City v Manchester United - Official Match Thread

No doubt it'll be a tough game, form goes out of the window, the team that'll win it always wants it more on the day. I am 75% postive it'll be us coz i think the players will be up for it and very confident after recent results and they're 'star man' isn't fully fit and it looking like berbacock will be leading the line, which even united fans hate the cringe at the idea of. We, on our day can beat anyone, and imo tommorow is no acception. 2-0 city (tevez for both). Come on you blues!

For me it's simple - if we attack them from the off we will win - sit back and we won't. We have enough attacking quality to beat them with or without shrek. Also our defense has improved in recent weeks - come co City let's kick their arses!

agree with many of the posters thus far- we need to be on the front foot from the outset, especially being at home. after the CC debacle lets just get out there and smash the sh*t out of them, let them have the fooking carling cup but hurt them tomorrow when it really matters!
come on City!

Bear in mind that if the tickets are not already in Manchester, no duplicates will be issued by the ticket office, and paper tickets don't get you in.

Also everyone, don't forget your season cards because they won't let you in no matter what.

I watch him all the time and couldn't care less about bandwagons. He's the only midfielder we have who can take the ball to feet under pressure and keep it. He's also one of the the cleverest footballers at the club, can pick a good ball, can tackle, make interceptions, head the ball, cover for players out of position, etc. He lacks acceleration and pace, so he's had to make up for it by using his brain. He positions his body brilliantly, sometimes he gets caught out, so does everyone.

He might not be the exciting box to box player who sprays passes around all over the place and drives forwards at pace that people love to watch (and we still need), but he's a very good player and a definite asset to the team.
That is true I guess, but he does get caught out alot more than any other player we've had in the last few years.

He also because of his intelligent play wins more free kicks than any other player, and always in key areas........ next time you watch him have a look (O:
