Re: Manchester City vs Liverpool pre-match thread

He'll have a fitness test tomorrow. More than likely just a knock that will get iced and be fine. I'd only be worried if it was a muscle injury but sounds an impact injury, a bit of pain certainly won't prevent him playing.

I was in Liverpool at the time of that game, wife's cousin had gone to the game and was stood in Leppings Lane end, he told me what happened and I have no reason to doubt him. Their own fans caused it.

They didn't cause it.Inadequate policing with an inexperianced chief inspector and a crap ground caused it.They let a crush build up outside and to ease it the order was given to open a gate.So some fans had had a few drinks and some without tickets for a semi final may have saw an open gate as an opportunity to get in to see the game.Would any other fans have behaved differently?

The police then stood and watched people going blue in the face and refused to open the gates in the fences and even beat people trying to climb over to escape the crush with truncheons to force them back.

Same team as rags away for me.more than capable of 3 points.aguero on for last 20 IF in need of a goal.
Get navas running at Flanagan!! He's young inexperienced and clumsy at times.navas could easily get a pen or two yellows out of him.
Hart
Zabba. Vinny. MDM. Clichy
Yaya. Fernandinho
Navas. Silva. Nasri
Dzeko
City 3-0 (just my opinion)

Re: Manchester City vs Liverpool pre-match thread

Had a dream yesterday it was 2-2 with 8 minutes to go and Agero was warming up.We were attacking, somebody shot, the keeper parried it and in a mad scamble it was poked in and we went 3-2 up.No idea if we won because i woke up then, lol!

Not sure why an inquest needed when one person who was there can solve the problem and save a lot of time.....

It's was a number of factors clearly.......

-- Sat Apr 12, 2014 8:14 pm --

If VK is out then it's a change of tactics for me.

.........................Hart.......................

Zab.......MDM.....Lescott.......clichy......

............Garcia.......Fernandinho...

Silva................Yaya..................Milner

.....................Aguero..................

Team full of workers and a forward who can score a goal from nothing.

Nasri, Navas, Dzeko ready to come on if needed.

Fair play fella, I suppose the inquest should probably hear his testimony and save a shit load of money. By any chance did your wife's cousin write for The Sun back then?

Can we restrict this topic to the game please

Cheers

Agreed but it is difficult to say nothing when people still print claptrap blaming the fans.
