Mancini Almost Left To Manage Monaco

Mancini knew we were talking seriously to Mourinho in January. You can hardly blame him for looking elsewhere just in case.

Oh No!!!............you've really gone and done it now, haven't you?

And in the Summer we had the Russian FA were about to name Mancini as their new manager, and it turned out to be Capello.

It would be newsworthy if he were in negotiations to leave City, but is it significant if he turned down a better financial offer to stay at City?

All I can say is big wow. Mancini in "I want to work shocker"...
If you thought there was a chance your job would vanish what would you do?

So in a week when ogden , mitten , spencer and co have all had a pop we now have this snake daniel taylor the writer of this book http://www.amazon.co.uk/This-One-Fergus ... 1845133544 telling it like it is about all of Man Citys business.

haha

high time our media dept started fighting fire with fire if you ask me (notice the ragginess of all the above writers)

The Grauniad wouldn’t run this if they weren’t confident in the story but Daniel Taylor is a rag sycophant of the highest order and not inclined to present anything in a beneficial light to City unless he has to. This could just as easily have been written as Mancini turning down the chance to earn a fortune because of his commitment to City / love of the club etc, etc.

No doubt Mancini did consider the offer but why wouldn’t he? Monaco’s a couple of hours from Genoa and he’s not guaranteed a job for life here.

Daniel Taylor isn't he sort to make up stories so those saying its bullshit need to take their head out of their ass and realize this isn't the sun or daily fail

I guess living across the pond has given me more perspective on the matter than u seem to have...

Turned down a better financial offer? Mancini's new contract makes him the best paid manager on the Premier League and I think either the 2nd or 3rd in domestic world football!

Monaco are in Ligue 2, the club needs a huge job doing to it to get it back on track.

Ian Herbert is running the story in the Indy but no mention to quotes from The Guardiian.
Waiting for Ogden now then we have the full set.
