Mancini - Balotelli

Maybe in the heat of a very important match it wasn't passed back to him, in which case the video man has fucked up.

You make no bones about the fact you want rid of Mancini, so you will select anything to be negative about him, me, I'm not particularly with the fella right now either, but I'm not going to claim he's a liar to crucify him further.

You disappoint me Cleavers. Up until this morning I have done nothing but reiterate that I believe Mancini's deserves another season. I make no bones about the fact that tonight I think he needs to go - primarily because it looked like a lot of the players just didn't want to play for him today in what was such a big game.

As for me claiming he's a liar, once again I'll reiterate, and it's just my opinion, I believe it is inconceivable that nobody went to Mancini at half time told him about the challenge and also suggested Mario needs to come off.
Fine be disappointed,I'm just giving my opinion, and I'm not arsed about getting into an argument with you. I've no idea (like you funnily enough) what happened at half time, but I'd hope they were too busy worrying about how to change what had gone on in the other 44 minutes of the first half.

The evidence suggests otherwise, as the second half followed the same pattern as the first, as well as Sunderland, Stoke, and Swansea. Balo today was a side show in many ways, he should have been off after 15 minutes, but he wasn't, and otherwise he contributed little or nothing, he got a red in the end for a nothing challenge that most refs would not have given a yellow, but I guess Atkinson had seen the first half assault, even if Mancini hadn't.

No problem. We'll leave it there.

maybe so and maybe Mancini chose to keep him on anyhow

would sour alex do any different?

not a chance

but it's all hypothetical anyway

Why do you keep going on about the rags and slur alex? I'm not interested in what they do with their players. I'm interested in how Mancini manages our players. It was the wrong decision to leave Mario on the pitch. His red card was inevitable, but more importantly, his performance coupled with that challenge should've ensured he was the first player hooked.

Becuase I fail to see why you think that Bobby should act in a way that no other Premier League manager would including the one that $ky bang on about all the time ad infinitum.

I was surprised that Edin did not replace Mario at half time myself but that's the managers call. He clearly still thought Mario was his best bet of a goal at 0 - 0 and was prepared to take the risk. The game was lost anyway when he got sent off.

We lost because we were outplayed as a team though and there should be collective responsibility for that.

Seen plenty of managers substitute players who are in danger of being sent off.

A call the manager got wrong IMO as we went on to lose the match and never once threatened Arsenal in the second half.

Ultimate responsibility for a single match can be levelled at the collective. The continual failure of our team in the last two months lands squarely at the managers feet as that is what is paid for.

You miss my point.

Those other players were banned, fined or whatever. As far as I can remember they weren't shunted from their respective teams. They weren't cited as disruptive influences that should be got rid of, even though they were kind of disruptive.

Mario is seemingly, oh here and in the press, being made out to be the worst player we've had and the sole reason why we've unraveled, etc.

Oh I don't miss your point. You miss mine. I couldn't care less about what other players have done in the past. I look at the bad press Mario gets and I believe he has brought nearly all of it upon himself. I don't feel the need to defend him because I don't think he deserves defending. He is undoubtedly hugely talented, but he is also a fucking moron and the balance has swung for me. I'd get rid of him in a heartbeat after today's showing. We don't have time to indulge him any longer.

You really believe he brings all the attention on himself? All Mario has to do is sneeze and it will be in the papers!

He doesn't do himself favours, but alot of the media attention is overblown. It's like the default story - if there's nothing else to write about, stick a Balotelli story in there.

I've said many times on here before, his reputation is what's harming him. Case in point, he does a mistimed tackle for his second booking, he gets sent off. Koschelny does a near similar tackle minutes later should have got his second......and nothing.

His reputation is all down to himself so he has no one to blame for that Can't say I've seen him in the papers over sneezing headlines but I have seen him in the papers for stamping on Parker, shagging some slapper, getting sent off numerous times and various other stupid things. Stop defending him, he's a tit. Mancinis blind faith in him is costing us dear now.

I stand by my assertion Balotelli has been trying to orchestrate a move back to Italy for at least two months.

He and his advisor have been feathering nests. I believe because they fear Mancini is a goner.

That's cool, prudent, even.

However, to use the platform of a club my dad first took me to from age of four, some 30-odd years ago, I find despicable, the lengths they have gone to manufacture it.

There is little difference from Tevez in these tactics. But at least that **** puts it on the line when he does play.

This is how Raiola usually operates, he said yesterday that Mario's going nowhere, that's the same as bye bye Manchester.

anyone would think he was roy gbh fucking keane the way some of you are going on

or one of the other dirty rag bastards that ended the career of a fellow professional with zero remorse

he's a very silly boy but the witch hunt is totally OTT

let the rag cunts and their medja partners do that

Well said.

Mancini has only reinforced this witch hunt by making Mario a scapegoat. He tried to blame him for the Sunderland draw last week for fuck sake. Without him we would of lost. This is the first time I really have felt embarrassed by our current manger.

Our great friend the sun is calling him the man who cost City the title now.

Nothing about a lot of the rest have been crap as well.

To be fair to Mancini i can see why he left him on.He was probably hoping he would pull something out of the bag.He did look the most likely to score.

The problem with Balotelli is he has started believing the myth.Like the naughty boy in the class he feels he has to do something, anything to be noticed,be the centre of attention. That and he can't tackle for toffee and should be told not to try.

He is 21 and when he stops all this nonsence and grows up he will be some player, unfortunately for us it won't be with us.
