Stu Brennans Twitter account worth a look https://twitter.com/StuBrennanMEN

Adamant he's going and

I said words to this effect not more than a couple of months ago and was roundly lambasted. I hope everything does come out so at least those who abused me will have cause to reflect upon the things they said.

Brennan and Custis were both writing Mancini was going nowhere just recently.

Mancini has made enemies across every facet of the club over the last 12 months.

And his ridicule of Vicky Kloss is a disgrace, especially in front of her at Wembley to a small press contingent, highly embarrassing.

Firstly, she is a blue.

Secondly, she is decent at her job.

She gets told what to say and when to say it, nothing more.

I might not agree with some of City's policy towards the media, but Mancini has pissed on a lot of chips.

Sorry but this is bolox.

Manuel Pellegrini signed Roque Santa Cruz for Malaga this season. Says it all.

Probably actually says more that he got him scoring goals again, against Real Madrid no less!

look at all the signings this season for Malaga and look how much they didn't spend

look at the players they sold

look at the none payments of debits and players wages

Malaga are screwed financially even to the point of being banned from europe

Brennan has no inside line to the club. He has a player contact. The players know as much about what is going on as we do.

Decisions will be made in Abu Dhabi and I'm pretty sure that it's currently seista time over there.

The players have known this was coming for a while now. This won't be a shock or disappointment to them.

Certainly a couple on loan did... ;-)

has anybody thought that maybe RM requested to be released from his contract...
the club then asking him to just keep a lid on it until they sound out a replacement...
2 guys get seen in madrid chatting... and the media goes into overdrive that RM sacked and MP to replace him.
RM said 'being sacked and MP replacing him' is rubbish... not anything else is rubbish!
Even when pressed about staying, he just repeated it's rubbish .

Just an alternative take on it.... DD you know where I'm coming from!

All it says is Malaga did not have anything to spend - literally, they have not spent £1 this season on transfers while selling something like £36million worth of players - and had to take what they could get. And Pellegrini has proven his managerial ability by getting the most out of a depleted squad. That includes goals from Santa Cruz against Real Madrid (3 goals in 2 games), Atletico Madrid, Valencia, and Porto. He's often been used off the bench but looked pretty good and highly motivated when played.

Mancini reminds me of Captain Quint in Jaws when he stubbornly drove his boat too fast with the engine knocking and bound to catch fire whilst singing 'farewell and adieu to you fair spanish ladies' with a monster shark chasing behind. Bobby has that mad ,stubborn, bloody minded glint in his eye. That's the kind of guy he is and its been his downfall but why do i feel like I did when we unveiled Frank Clarke.

Using that analogy, what would happen if a maths teacher was made to teach chemistry?
They would do their best, but that is not where they should be. Same as some of the players that Bobby has managed, play your players where they excell at, not try to make masters , Jacks of all trades.

Brennan, as far as i know has never been in the closet about being a rag, but he is a journalist first and foremost.

I was in a Primary school so your analogy wouldn't work there, we taught all subjects. And we taught them well because we didn't limit ourselves to one position!! I love our team to bits but apart from Zaba this season I have despaired at times.

As for Brennan, not really sure that he is a journalist!! I know a few journalists, got a couple in my own family, and they are 100 times better at their job than him.

The point still stands though, the players may be pissed off with the way he interacts with them and the way he employs their talents.

It shouldn't stop them doing their best, Saturday was NOT a City team doing its best, it was a City team lying down to rest. It's very rarely you read me criticising the team. I am more likely to say; they had a 'bad day at the office', 'they all had a bad day at the same time' , these are more my lines but on Saturday I was not happy with any of them. I've defended the team and individual players quite a lot on here but they had better buck their ideas up tomorrow. It's a long drive to Reading and back in a day!!

He still signed Crocky... inexcusable.

I'll be rightly pissed off if City appoint this dour bastard. Asides from being an excellent football manager, at least Bobby has a bit about him as a character.
