Stu Brennans Twitter account worth a look https://twitter.com/StuBrennanMEN

Adamant he's going and

I said words to this effect not more than a couple of months ago and was roundly lambasted. I hope everything does come out so at least those who abused me will have cause to reflect upon the things they said.

Brennan and Custis were both writing Mancini was going nowhere just recently.

Mancini has made enemies across every facet of the club over the last 12 months.

And his ridicule of Vicky Kloss is a disgrace, especially in front of her at Wembley to a small press contingent, highly embarrassing.

Firstly, she is a blue.

Secondly, she is decent at her job.

She gets told what to say and when to say it, nothing more.

I might not agree with some of City's policy towards the media, but Mancini has pissed on a lot of chips.

was he not just truthfully pointing out that he could not answer these questions himself

shirley her job was to stop those questions being asked in the first place and to stop the speculation from going any more public on cup final day

the way to do that was to manage the Q&A and to restrict the questions to the subject of football/ the cup final and to interrupt and contain the situation when the press tried to overstep the mark into more sensitive areas

as the press were allowed free range it instead sounds like he was hung out to dry to me

Manuel Pellegrini signed Roque Santa Cruz for Malaga this season. Says it all.

And he's scored 12 goals for them.

remind us how many he scored for us, and while your at it remind us what point you are making.

Mark Hughes basically got lambasted for pillar to post for signing Crocky, am I right or wrong?

We are replacing the manager who won us 2 major trophies in 3 seasons with a lad who couldn't win a trophy with Real Madrid and who's major piece of business was to sign Crocky on loan from us..

Let me put it simply, we do not need a manager who is scraping around the Crocky of this world. We want someone who can attract the best players in the world.

Who is going to turn down PSG and Barca for us. Can't see it all.

Which is where Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon will have expected the Barca duo to have earned their money.

To secure Pellegrini will be a very impressive feat.

Especially so, when they have been working 24/7 at some of the players we intend to bring in.

to secure someone who with £200 million in his back pocket could only get Real Madrid to the CL quarter finals.....thats as far as twitcher took the spuds with a lot less cash

Twitcher isn't, and never has been, wanted by some of the world's biggest clubs.

Pellegrini has his pick this summer. There's a reason the likes of Chelsea, PSG, Roma, Barca and ourselves have spoken to his agents.

People are too dismissive of what this guy can do, simply because he isn't Mourinho or Klopp.

To answer another post, Mourinho signed a pre-contract agreement with Chelsea a couple weeks back.

If we had wanted him, we would have him boxed off.

Sorry but this is bolox.
How? Read the MEN text of the post-match press conference. It's embarrassing

Take a look at every national and many international press outlets over the last 2 years and it's much worse.

That's her responsibility. She has failed.

To the ITK's,are we getting mourinho??

If bob is on his way and it looks that way,i think the only way to get the fans back onside then it's jose all the way for me..

The owners have always come across as sensible business chaps,not a scattergun between them,but i think winning the league last year was the beginning of the end, it's been a monkey on the back of roberto and the players from the first whistle against southampton and the more i think about it that performance on saturday painted a thousand pictures and said everything we needed to know,the players have quite simply give up on him!!

This club is about progression,progress this season we havn't and that has cost bobby manc...

Zzzz. We all know mourinho is the best manager we could of got in terms of bringing success. However we all know the 2 Spanish execs won't employ him and he's nailed on for Chelsea.

I hope Berigstein lets whoever the new manager is choose his own targets, because otherwise they're just a puppet. Not happy with rumours linking us with Jesus Navas either. Would be a huge flop in England.

Why didn't he get into the coach with the players? Maybe he went Qpr to say goodbye but doubt that. God city need to put this to bed asap

Just a word on reasons folks:

Mancini made no secret of his anger with last years transfer business and as the title slipped away he has repeated his annoyance. Recently, he has stood square against the board regarding the post season trip to America. The relationship had become difficult prior to Friday and clearly it has now got even worse.

For the last few weeks, it has looked increasingly as if Mancini would resign. Now a compromise seperation seems the most likely outcome.

Even though the last transfer window was quite underwhelming I must say (Nasty excluded) if you look at the rags first team and ours based on performances this season :

Hart = De Gea
Clichy > Evra
Zab > Raphael
Nastasic = Ferdinand
Vidic = Kompany
Yaya > Carrick
Silva = Scholes / Kagawa
Barry = Cleverley
Milner = Valencia/Giggs
Van Persie > Aguero
Rooney = Tevez

So, I would say what lost us the league was poor tactics, poor substitutions and very poor motivation.
