How can Mancini take the team Tuesday with everything thats gone on?

He IMO will not......I see him being sacked tomorrow ......Kidd will take side for last 2 games or Viera

Been reported Mancini is on 7m a year but the compensation is 1 year maximum in his contact .....add the 3m to get Pellegrini... does that 10m count towards FFP ?

3 wins in 12 games is never a great achievement.

Although we lost to a relegation strickened team yesterday so maybe I understate how magnificent those 3 wins are
So, no he can't?
Hang on a sec

Are we talking Sunderland (a), Everton (a), Swansea (a) or Chelsea (a)?
Not even slightly.

That would just be you changing the subject.

There seems to be a lot of "getting away from the issue" here

Forget the "fall out" in the press room, who should or shouldn't have defended him,he is going for footballing reasons only,we have won fuck all,and managers pay the price, that's the top and bottom of it.......that's football

As long as Silva goes as well am up 4 that

Cant belive some City fans want him out he came we won the cup the league and smashed them red cunts 6-1 #shamefull

Disagree with that.

Over his tenure at City his record stands up to anyone

This season has been disappointing, but the lack of goals can be clearly put down to injury and the change in playing personnel for which Mancini is not responsible

Are you suggesting we re-hire Mark Hughes?

Breaking:

Tancredi Palmeri has just tweeted that an interview with a famous journalist who is also mancinis closest friend in business has revealed that its NOT Txiki or Soriano who have pushed for his exit but SHEIKH MANSOUR after an unexpected breakdown in relationship.

Can see that having some credibility purely based on Mancini's character. He has constantly pushed for more authority and probably made a play against Ferran & Txiki as he did against Cook and Marwood if I recall. Its the same with characters like Mancini or a Mourinho or Benitez that they can't help pushing against restrictions and agitating for more of this and greater say in matters. And whilst they are winning its fine but stop winning and people start to wonder why they put up with it.

The trouble with the Roberto's and Jose's and Rafa's is they are a first class pain in arse but its this constant drive that also makes them win trophies. Pellegrini everyone says is a lovely guy, a first rate coach and the players will probably love him but he just doesn't come across as having that implacable drive to win and to win all the time. Arguably in all three cases it wears out the players to the extent that every three years or so you are guaranteed for relationships to break down. Even Jose with his knack of getting the players on side the intensity of it all still gets them in the end causing it to fracture.

All three coaches also have this iron clad confidence in themselves that makes reasoning with them impossible. They are always right. Its the world that is wrong and they fight a constant war to shape the world to their view.

Anyway I'll stop rambling...

If it is our owner who has made the decision then the inners need to ask themselves.....Mansour or Mancini :)

I may be dumb as f*** and i never said City leaked anything, but we can't go into Tuesdays game like this.

So fooking what?

What should they do if Pellegrini signing is not completed and Mancini settlement not arranged. Go public just to satisfy Mancini's leverboys here and then one of those two to fail and to stay in the middle of nothing.

Yeah, sure..
If Mancini is going, are we really going to make him squirm on the touchline at Reading, picking a team when all the players know he is toast. Ffs pay the man off and lets move on.

Why not? It has been done million times so far so why the hell would he not be on that line next two games?

I can't wait to see his back to be honest but sacking him with two games til season end with nothing to play for is much more embarrassing and humiliating for him than refusing to comment anything for a week.

And as much as I don't think he is right man for job anymore sacking him week before the season finish is not the way he should be treated, it's astonishing to me that his backers want exactly that.

We sacked Hughes for a manager that, at the time, had no Premier League experience and didn't know a thing about English football. He will leave us with three titles and an improved CV.

Will we sack him for another manager that, at this time, has no Premier League experience and doesn't know a thing about English football? Let's see what happens, shall we? After all, that is all we can do.

And a manager that has never won anything in his career and is 59 years old. Yeah, can't wait

Well, at least we know there will be fans quick to post Pellegrini Out threads!

He's not our manager yet you thick fucking twat.

If he does come then the people wanting him out will be exactly the same ones who have bored the tits off us for the last 3 years wanting to get rid of Mancini

No but he does have a point in fairness.

At the end of the day it seems its either Mancini or the Sheikh. I know who I'm backing.

Mancini did great for us but the 5 year contract seems to have given him licence to say whatever the fuck he wants which is not on.

I think Didsbury Dave has already started one.

Has DD said who he wants?

(I actually enjoy his views as they certainly keep threads moving at pace)

The headline is totally disingenuous though and surprisingly poor by someone who is known for his accuracy. Pellegrini didn't spend that £200million or rather he had no say in the transfer policy. The two players he really wanted to keep, Robben and Sneijder, were sold against his wishes immediately and the already washed up Kaka replaced Sneijder because he'd sell more shirts.

Pellegrini likes to do exactly what we seem to be missing - build a team, not always with the biggest names on the market, but with the right components. The very opposite of Real Madrid, which may illustrate why it's not 11 or 12 years without the trophy they prize so much - the Champions League. He should have known better though going to Real Madrid, where the man voted in power usually decides who they will buy. Credit to Mourinho who actually managed to get them to budge and sign players he actually wanted (although he wasn't able to scrape the cancers out of the dressing room who are known to have their own agenda).

"They sign the best players, but not the best players needed in a certain position. It’s no good having an orchestra with the 10 best guitarists if I don’t have a pianist. Real Madrid have the best guitarists, but if I ask them to play the piano they won’t be able to do it so well. He [Perez] sold players that I considered important. We didn't win the Champions League because we didn't have a squad properly structured to be able to win it."

More of bluemoon should be your rambling, that's a great post.

A lot of people whose views I respect are convinced Pellegrini will be a massive step up, so I'm hopeful.

Disgraceful for Bobby to go like this though. Sack who you like but Bobby's a legend and at least deserves the chance for a great send off.

Oh come on if we are sacking Mancini there is no way he can take the last two games after the fall out from the last three days,Brian Kidd can see the season out.
