Haven't been on this thread for a week or so, chiefly cos I got tired of reading presumptive, fact free, twaddle like this. Anyone that questions Mancini is motivated by 'hate' or an 'agenda' etc etc. It really is arrant nonsense

Yes it is and the constant misrepresentation of people's views is getting to the point of being libel.

Grow up..Libel....

I just find it hilarious how the outers...and there are only a few have been awfully quiet since Monday night when Mancini got his tactics bang on the money. People are judging Mancini on his european record.
I really couldnt give a fuck if we never qualify for the knock out stages-Premiership for me is the bread and butter and Mancini has taken us to the next level. Perhaps the boardwill disagree with my opinion however I for one will be eternally grateful to Mancini

I too will be eternally grateful to Bobby, because he has taken us a long way in a relatively short period of time. He has, however, taken us as far as he can, and that is really the acid test. By the way, I came to this forum to praise the players and Bobby two hours after the derby, but this thread was nowhere to be seen, so I posted in the derby post-match thread, as I saw Billy Shears did also. You're correct that Bobby outfoxed Baconface yet again, but unfortunately, we've been very poor in losses to some of the poorest sides in the League. At the end of the season, regardless of what any of us think, Sheikh Mansour will make the call. Either way, I'll still be a diehard City partisan to the moment I leave this life...

Mancini should be sacked because he closed all the mines, steelworks and stuff. Or was it that he listened to Thatcher who told him to play 3-5-2? I'm getting a bit confused.

He's definitely a fan of Thatcher's. I believe he bases his man management on techniques she perfected during the miner's strikes in 84.

Actually, he was taught everything he knows about 'man-management' by Paolo di Canio...

Not to mention quite frightening!

If he wins another trophy for us this year it would be maddness to get rid.
Fergie has won 2 Champs trohpies in 25 years and I dont see anyone wanting to give him the chop.

I think we should stick with Bobby and give him time to learn and adapt his style to European football. Hes earned that.

I also think the group stages have been set-up so we will find it nigh on impossible to get out of.

Balls to FIFA and UEFA, stick with the manager and give him time to get it right.

If he did go though id take Ancelotti!

I will give Bobby praise and criticism as I see fit to do so.

For as long as he is City manager, he will have good games and bad ones. He will do things that I think are worthy of praise and he will do things that are not. If he does increasingly less of the latter, I will be much happier about his continued tenure.

-- Fri Apr 12, 2013 12:12 pm --

Some people on here appear to want to support Stepford City.

Nah, Kenobi-wan, they are really like worker bees; you know, the drones. When they all start buzzing at once, behold the glory of the Hive Mind.

Roberto has quite often got things wrong tactically,so has Ferguson and even he gets stick off his clubs fans at times.
There is nothing wrong with discussing a managers perceived failings. What sometimes appears to happen here with Roberto though,is his failings are highlighted far more than his successes by the people who don't rate him.
Comparing his credentials to Ferguson,Mourinho etc when these guys have flaws all of their own, some of the anti Mancini posters sometimes overlook these flaws in their haste to mock or criticize
Its a shame because this thread has thrown up some great posts by people
On both sides.

It's an evil race on that planet that you come from;-)

Yes, and I am quite proud to be their antagonist...by the way, they sent St. Helens a tinfoil hat, and he's fallen in love with it. They're inseparable, wouldn't you know?!

Whilst you're all perfectly entitled to have the opinion that Mancini isn't right for the job it's something else completely trying to paint those that don't agree as having a hive mind or being drones.
The fact is the majority of blues are happy with his reign so far - its hardly the most outlandish thing you're going to read on a forum for City fans and it certainly doesn't make you incapable of forming those decisions off your own back.
Hopefully a successful weekend will keep us all happy and we can look forward to adding to our trophy list at the end of the season.
