Mancini ; I stay at City

It's probably my natural cynicism when it comes to supporting this Club - but I'm still not 100% convinced by Mancini. The Team on its own are worthy of Top 4 in a poor Premiership season and the FA Cup run glossed over poor Carling Cup & Europa campaigns. The spine of the side weren't brought in by him with Silva and Yaya both being on our radar long before he took over. However, we BADLY need stability in the Management position and he does seem to handle the job fairly well. Providing the team continues to progress and he meets his targets then things can stay as they are.

CTID.

churlish post; do you not think Yaya and Silva may have come to City because of Mancini? Tbh I am not sure they would have heard of Mark Hughes, either way Mancini DID sign them so please do not infer otherwise

"learn"?!?!?

I think having the biggest transfer budget in the world merits more than a trainee, personally.

Do you know everything there is to know about your business? Do you not learn something new every day?

Ferguson himself has a sign in his office that reads "Stop Learning, Start Dying", or some such nonsense. It's a never ending game of education, as it is constantly in flux. Today's football is massively different from that only 10 years ago, that people who don't learn get left behind all of the time. Ask Big Ron and his ilk.

Wailing, breast beating and gnashing of teeth because our most successful manager since John Bond states he wants to stay.

Only on Bluemoon.
The worst behaviour is by the mancini fans who can't accept an opinion that differs from theirs

That is only in response to the Mancini outers belittling everyone else who doesnt share their opinions and acting all high and mighty.

Justified or not, the worst behaviour is coming out of that camp.

We even had a thread insinuating that the outers weren't happy, or on bluemoon because we beat utd!

Even the most ardent inner can empathise an understand why the outers doubt Mancini?

As someone who supports Mancini while he's here, but hopes for Mourinho... no, not really. The behavior is generally poor from both sides and you have people in both camps who love nothing more than to play the martyr.

So I have zero sympathy for your hardship.

If saint bob is learning so much, why did he allow the holding midfielders
To sit on the edge of their own box for 70 minutes against Blackburn, allowing them to play? 8 days ago he'd won the biggest game of the season by correcting that at the same point of the game.

I don't think he does learn much because I don't think he's very bright, if I'm honest.

No two games are the same, Blackburns one and only tactic consisted of them giving the ball to Robinson and the back four, for them to lump the ball into our area, therefore our midfield naturally dropped deep to scrap for the knock downs. Although it wasn't vintage I saw Yaye endevour to break forward as much as possible, and I actually thought Silva and in particular Johnson had pretty poor games . . . . . Which isn't Mancinis fault.

who says mancini plays boring football..
We must admit that with big teams mostly away.
But with small teams after mid season he has been playing one of the best play.we have got a game like barca with addition of strength in it.physical aspect.
What is lagging in barca side.we play simple passing football.
In fact i think we play the best football in england.
the team is getting better.its like we are in vertical summit.very near to the peak.with all hard work done

We do not play the best football in England.

We play very well in 20 min spells in matches, at most.

Try telling fans who went to brum at home, arsenal away, Liverpool away, spurs away, utd at home, notts co away, aris at home etc that we play the best football in England
