Mancini is right AJ is lazy

Because he is so wank with his right foot and is played on the right he has one move - Run down the wing then cut inside onto his left foot. Players like that are so easy to defend against, just show them onto their weak foot and they are completely toothless. He either needs to start playing on the left where he can at least put some crosses in or spend hours on the training pitch practicing crossing with his weak foot.
He needs to start doing what Sturidge did to Clichy get onto the Right foot and put a cross in he did this once today and put a decent cross. But when he cuts in it's too predictable and just gets outnumbered.

-- Mon Jan 02, 2012 3:15 am --

not read much of this thread but if were talking poor players step forward a. kolorov he is shit i. m.o he needs fucking off
tbh he's been shit for a long time now and people were saying give him time but he's not suddenly gonna get faster he's too slow. Can't attack and can't defend.
Get Jordi Alba in

1st half: Johnson one of the best players on the pitch.

2nd Half: Johnson one of the worst players on the pitch.

Don't murder the kid.

Very rarely plays well when he starts I like Johnson but his threat was nowhere to be seen in the 2nd half. Think he also trys the samething to many times coming back onto his left foot. When he went to the left he crossed the ball straight away I'd play him there give him a chance to run down and fire balls into the box.

AJ did ok yesterday and had scored 5 in his last 8 games for City. Messi he isn't but he is still a useful enough player for us to have.

The pitch didn't help him or us as it was very boggy and cut up way to easily. Our pitch is much better than that bog and allows us to zip the ball around a lot quicker.

The problem is that he cant beat players for pace. So his lack of pace would be exposed on the left, players would just show him the outside when he's on the left and he's gonna do less damage when he creates space as he's on the outside before they catch him up and close the distance. On the right when he creates space for himself and come inside, he is closer to the middle with his left foot and has time to do something. Simply put lack of pace is whats holding him

i would keep him, but only as an impact player. he does have plenty of ability, he just can't keep it up for 90mins. bring him on when games need a shake up.
