Maybe. But for all the folk who say Mancini fucked up at City so did Soriano at said airline.

If you look at his CV he is a MBA management type. The world is absolutely full of them. Generally they are about as interesting as watching paint dry. Mancini on the other hand is a passionate know it all who has a temper. Never was gonna work.

The difference between Soriano and Mancini is that Soriano works for City, Mancini doesn't. On that basis I know where my loyalty lies. Maybe you should ask yourself why you're so desperate to defend a former employee whilst continuing to make snide digs about a man who comes with the kind of reputation in football which means he chose where he wanted to work without having to stick his arse out the window and scream "look how fit I am!".

Same old story, Billy, as it's MCFC fans vs. Mancini FC fans. Maybe they'll get another chance to root for their hero when he replaces Mark Hughes at Stoke City.

might have wait till Hughes gets the sack in Nov for that to happen

Surely as you wrote that you must have felt some irony.

Definitely!

But the arse out the window screaming "look at me" comment wasn't half as effective without the loyalty line ... :)

He calls for respect yet completely disrespects Soriano? The mind boggles.

maybe with good reason.

Hush now you wanted Mancini out two years ago!

no I didn't. I wanted him to dump his negative boring Italian football. to be fair he did just that.

haha ... i love you bill! sorry for putting words in your mouth. :)

After what happened at City, I think he will have a hard time finding a job. He's now got a track record of falling out with players and executives.

For all his trophies, few clubs seem interested. Monaco passed and PSG hired Blanc after failing with several other options. Napoli preferred Benitez. Roma took Rudi Garcia of all people.

He's either not rated or not well liked, or both.

if I didn't know better i'd reckon you're glad bob has gone and you prefer pelli.

but I know you are not that stupid.

Billy, you have never been behind Mancini even when he did work for City so you can't play the "get behind the manager card"... . The truth is that your problem with Mancini was that he replaced your idol - a certain Mark Hughes... from that time it was never going to work for you with him in charge sad as it was.

Considering the very short time you've been on this forum I can only assume one of the housewives has been telling you porky pies to try and wind you up. Don't listen to 'em mate. I was behind the sacking of Hughes and even more behind the appointment of Mancini.

Billy, we have met a couple of times and your company is great. I have been on this forum (in another guise- just like you) for many many years. You never could accept that Hughsie was crap and couldn't manage to save his life. When Mancini was appointed you were appauled at the way he was sacked... me and you had many good spat about that!!

See you in the Bulls head 17th August.

Hahaha. That's simply not true mate. Shall I start sticking some posts on here from around the time of Hughes' sacking and Mancini's appointment ? And what was your previous username ? If we have met then you'll have no trouble telling me ... or if you want send me a PM :)

That's not true though is it? It's possible to retain some affection for a manager that helped bring such good memories in a 3 year window and still accept that the time was right for him to move on.
Trying to make out that if you were an "inner" means you want only success for Mancini and don't care about the good of the club is ridiculous.

It depends on the individual. Some inners love the club more than Bobby, some don't. I assume you're in the former category.
