Fans can think what they want but bottom line they getting it all from the media reporting that they think Mancini is under pressure! NO ONE KNOWS HOW OUR OWNERS WORK of they don't sack him this summer we know they are sensible owners with long term thinking

This thread isn't 180 pages long because of the media. You strike me as someone in heavy denial.

Facts wise what have our owners said about Mancini's tenure? Only facts I see was the FIVE year contract at the start of the season! I know contracts are not worth the paper they are written on but why 5 years why not 3 that most managers get? That tells me our owners are in it with Mancini for the long haul

The importance of that banner, and all that it represented, was immense. Surprised you think otherwise, BS.
Banner ez importante?
I was conscious of that! But that was Billy's word not mine.

At least I used 'immense' and not 'massive'.

It did. Now it's gone. It isn't a reason to keep an under performing manager in the job, and it's not a reason to look at a manager's predicament through rose tinted glasses. Mancini's under pressure and the team looked bereft of motivation last week. That's criminal, and he has rightly carried the can in the media this week.

Ok, fair enough. That wasn't how your point came across.

Forget tomorrow as I expect nothing other than a comfortable victory. The real pressure is next weekend and whether we rise to the challenge against Chelski.

Did they all decide this after Mancini took tea with the owner of Monaco and spoke to the six or seven other clubs that he openly spoke about being in contact with ?

There's a lot of people who find it incomprehensible that the owners gave Mancini a 5 year contract but would then contemplate sacking him. I find it quite plausible that they would and could do that if our season continues to get worse rather than better.

Of course nobody on here really knows ... but then I suspect Mancini doesn't really know otherwise he wouldn't be so ridiculously defensive every time his tenure is seemingly questioned in a press conference.
