He's increasingly becoming like a spoilt fucking child if you ask me. He's the most privileged manager in world football and half the time he acts like he's carrying a poison fucking chalice .

I sometimes think he plays on Abu dhabis, and cooks, lack of football experience.

You would prob know a spoilt fucking child when you saw one-thats just how you were last season whenever city failed to win..you wanted three points every game and if it didn,t happen you banged your fists and slagged the manager off, demanding he be sacked..its because of the immense pressure on Mancini to deliver that he wants all signings wrapped up,bedded in and ready to start the season after a pre-season tour. that hasn,t happened, whilst utd,who won the league ,immediately add to their squad with players who have had the benefit of a pre-season tour together..

You demand the best from mancini yet you don,t want him to have the same support in-house and at executive level as the tyrant over the road has? what fooking planet are you on? City have had enough warnings that getting things right off the pitch is crucial in achieving the right results-i in my opinion we have been left behind this pre-season by a utd set up which moved quickly to carry out the managers orders in the most efficent and professional manner...we aspire to be champions but take three months to sort out a couple of transfers..oh great.

The board are doing the right thing, in the past they splurged out on players and paid way over the odds in fees and salaries. Would you want them to do this and then get kicked out of Europe by Uefa? You'd be moaning then as well.

I cannot understand Mancini's attitude here. He already has a huge squad of players, but seems intent on writing them off before a ball is even kicked. 15 months ago, James Milner was tearing up trees for Villa. He was brilliant. Mancini bought him, now he's not good enough?? I think he needs to look at the potential of his existing squad before he starts trying to add more problems to the wagebill.

Spot on.

The same people demanding that Mancini gets his way, that players are signed "as soon as possible" are probably the same ones whining that we can't get rid of Adebayor and Bellamy because they're on too high a wage!

still can not see how this marriage can go on and on.

as soon as the owner will make his choice the better for the club.

They already have. Which is why even though Mancini went to AD to demand total control, he came back without it, and why he's still taking potshots at Cook and Marwood in the press.

He needs to be careful he doesn't end up being hoisted on his own petard.

why dont you answered to my previous post about your beloved mourinho ?

Mancini has fantastic squad....he needs to use it better. Players like millner and swp would be stars for majority of teams in the PL. You cant find better squad players than that and have a happy dressing room. This is as good as it gets

I'm sure once Mancini has won the CL twice, won the title in three different countries, beaten Ferguson and Wenger to the PL title, and generally become lauded as the best manager of his generation, he'll get the power base Mou has at Real Madrid...

Now tell me, what do you think of Khaldoun and our owners - knowing that they won't give Mancini 100% control and would rather power is delegated between Cook, Marwood, and him?

i cant say nothing of Khaldoun and the Owner. i just can say this marriage cant go on and they will have to do a choice sooner better than later.

Over the last 6 years Arsenal have had very strong squads Bob. He'll they reached the final of the CL and nearly won it,

Like I said, they already have. Mancini doesn't have 100% control yet. He hasn't earned it in the eyes of the owners clearly. Maybe if he wins the title, as he said the other week, they'll change their mind next summer...

Spot on m8, he looks well pissed. Arsenal are being a bit cheeky as well, holdin out for an extra couple of million for a player we can get for peanuts in Jan & free in May. We've given them enough bleedin money as is, let it go for me.
Arsenal will try and hold out til Nasri plays the second keg of the CL Qual' so he's cup tied for us. Wenger IS that much of a ****!

And Mancini does seem pissed off. Since we put our last bid in for Sanchez FOUR WEEKS AGO(!) what have City been doing to fill the biggest hole in our squad (fast, skillful, good dribbling, ball carrying, creative, goal scoring, attacking mid)? I know we signed Agüero and that might well have taken many hours of man work to get sorted, but nobody's telling me that we only had enough men to sort one person out at a time? I know we've been trying to getrid of Tevez (to no avail) [but wasn't that why we got the ex Bburn bloke in, to get rid of the shit we dint want?]

I know there's all sorts of intricacies involved in transfers but deep down every single one of us knows that we could have got this done AGES ago!

no they wont...nasri will be injured until he will be sold. Arsenal properly feels they can get more out of Man city and feels they desperately need someone like nasri and as they have the money will stomp up the fee....big gamble. Both teams are playing games, lets see who blinks first

Amazing that when threads like this start the usual suspects all come out with their usual bullshit.
Only had to read page 1 and knew Billy Shears would join in (Are you telepathic?)

AD would me mad in my eyes to give anyone total control, what if they walk away (manager not AD), what if they decide to sack him, at least some things would carry on as normal.

IMO he's pissed because he wanted his players in for the start, who wouldn't, and he knows there is no going back with some of the others because that would make him look weak and we know that he isn't.

About time some of you got behind him instead of constantly moaning behind his back.

FA cup winners and champions league is a great start for someone in his first season in England in my book.

They still have a strong squad and will strengthen if/when they lose Fabregas and Nasri.

Talk of them not finishing in the top 4 is a bit silly.

I never write Wenger off.

I think it would be crazy these days to give any manager 100% control. Do we really want Bob to spend hours a week with his abacus working out how to balance the books to meet FPR? Working out how much he needs to sell Adebayor for and whether to subsidise his wages in order to buy Cerci?

Its too big a job. It reminds me of when Liverpool gave Benitez "control" over their transfer budget. The trouble was he didnt realise until he'd spent it that he also had to pay for any contract upgrades from the same budget.

If Bob had been given 100% control he'd probably have bought Kun for £50m in the first week of the window, completed a straight exchange of Tevez for Eto'o and now be wondering why Hart has requested a transfer and he's no money to pay for Nasri.
