Mancini certainly likes to make bold statements. I think sometimes he crosses the line between positivity, adding pressure on the players and setting himself up for a fall. Most of the time his statements haven't come to fruition. A few examples:

1. We will beat Bayern Munich

2. Tevez is finished

3. We will beat Sporting Lisbon

Also, quite concerned by always blaming himself when we lose. Is he trying to get himself sacked?

NEVER

All sports persons go into their games/fights/races etc with their mental attitude TO WIN, otherwise you have lost before you start.

Id much rather see him have the confidence, and lead the CLUB from the front telling everyone (inside the club and outside) we are going to win.

Put that belief into EVERYONE.

Its only then that we have an edge. We know we have the players. We've shown everyone we can play, we just need that confidence to push on.

Mancini has lead teams to victory time and time again. He knows what he needs to do.

Do you think he gave up last season when we got thumped by Liverpool?

Thats when he stepped in and gave the team the belief they could go to Wembley and beat United.

Its not just the team that needs the belief, its some fans too. Its a very nervy time granted, but, we have to believe, so that can be passed on to our players with the atmosheres only we can create.

We all need to be stood in Albert Sq in May with no voices left, and sore throats, just to prove to ourselves that we played a part in winning this premier league title
