He's a good passer, but most Spanish players are. He's not an exceptional passer, however.

What Matinez offers is the ability to run past players and has great close control. That coupled with good passing and choice selection makes him a great player in my view and gives us a more direct option from back to front than we currently have.

To keep asking for more players is a sign of weakness.

I agree with you.

He spent fortune on Mario, Edin, Aleks,Samir & Savic and they didn't justify their price tag yet.


And I don't know why he couldn't get the best out of Adebayor and Bellamy ! I think they can be more useful than Mario and Edin.

Getting a bit sick of us always needing to buy our way out of trouble, we have the squad, which is supposedly better than uniteds, why cant he just stop complaining and use the players at his disposal, what are we gonna do if we buy all of these players and then it doesnt work, buy another 100 millions worth of players ?

I like that team,a tad harsh on Richards but it providesa soild defence with plenty of attacking optons and scope for variation,especially with the option of a big/target man on the bench.

All though I figure Alves is as un-gettable as it gets, he would of course walk straight into our starting XI. (Does he ever get tired by the way?)
But I would then train Micah to be a CB; and he would become awesome in that position.
