Is De Rossi still off the cards if Roma miss out on CL? Frankly I think a major thing we've been missing is some agression and fucking balls. Sometimes its only Yaya storming about looking like he's willing to take heads off for a win. I wouldn't mind a bit more of that and some experience like DDR could be fantastic. Think he would still be at the top of Mancinis hit list if he becomes available too.

I do like the idea of Javi Martinez but I also think we may be shooting ourselves in the foot slightly buying brilliant Spanish potential when the ones good enough invariably end up at one of the two biggest clubs in the world which unfortunately both happen to be Spanish. It's why we'll never escape Silva to Real rumours etc etc. I know we're not exactly drowning in English world class talent at the moment but we need to be building teams who's key players won't have their heads turned. If there are suitable alternatives I'd be staying away from Spanish and German players, just because if they're good enough to be winning the CL with, which is the calibre of player we want, they have better options than us (as much as it pains me to say) in their home country.

Can we not just buy Ronaldo and be done with it? He's already gone to Real once so he can't really go back :p

Frankly Mancini should be able to cope as is. We already have the best squad in England. We have not had the injuries United have had.

Quite simply over the season he has not utilised the squad well enough. He's overplayed Silva, and underplayed Milner for example.

To keep asking for more players is a sign of weakness.

Obviously if we want to win the CL we need a few in. But even with Ronaldo, Hazard etc I doubt Mancini could do it.

He spent fortune on Mario, Edin, Aleks,Samir & Savic and they didn't justify their price tag yet.


And I don't know why he couldn't get the best out of Adebayor and Bellamy ! I think they can be more useful than Mario and Edin.

I can see up to 9 players going including usual deadwood suspects. This gives us massive spending potential ( I reckon 120m + ) plus up to 50 million a year in wages to play with before any additional costs are needed. My own shopping list would be Martinez, Hazzard, levezzi, Cavani and VP. Additional would bring back Boyata, guidetti and Weiss along with Junior H from Blackburn on a free . I would have Martinez as DM and cover for CD. Would have Micha as RB and cover for CD. I believe all this could happen without spending an additional penny.
