Mancini Thread (no City stuff)

Re: Mancini Thread

Bloody phone!! (7 shits) Sorry folks.

I know you weren't looking for a row mate btw. You want chilli sauce on that? (not Turkish by the way - I'm a fat, pasty faced Manc who also should know better than to indulge in casual racism too!)

That's what happens when we put folk on a pedestal - they occasionally hit the mat.
I have a tube of Araldite super strength ready to re-attach my cock if Bob puts the Special Needs One out.
In fact if that happens and we stroll the title, I may contemplate going to church again, if only to pinch the altar wine.

Bobby and gala will beat maureens chelsea in the Champs league. Fancy gala to win by a couple of goals at their place. Then either draw or narrow chelsea win at bridge but bobs mob progressing overall!

More chance of me falling down the stairs and waking up in Narnia

Can't see anything other than Chelsea progression but I hope Mancini gives them a run for their money.

I've not seen much of Gala but if Mancini is happy to set them up to play '19th century football' then they can have a chance imo, Chelsea really struggle against even decent defences if you can limit Hazard's space.

Re: Mancini Thread

Haven't lost in 7 matches and conceded their first goal in 6 games the other day. The Gala fans seem very happy with the progression they're showing, and how the team is starting to play how Mancini wants.

They're 6 points behind Fenerbahce and lying in 3rd which is a good achievement from where they started, and they have a run of extremely winnable games coming after the Chelsea game.

Him and Drogba seem to have had a set-to in the last game, as Drogba hasn't played well for about a month and started giving it out to Tugay, one of the assistants, during the game to which Mancini bollocked him and he went all Balotelli. The general idea before Mancini even went there was that Drogba was putting in half-shifts until his contract is up at the end of the season and he can bugger off to MLS or Saudi Arabia or something.

Two big games for them in the next few days; Besiktas at home on Saturday then Chelsea at home on Wednesday

Shows Mourinho has no appreciation of the history of the game. In the 19th century it was typical to play with four upfront. Far more attack minded than today. Look at all the record scores, they all tended to be in those early days. It only began to change when Herbert Chapman dominated the league through solid well-organised defence allied to counter-attack.
