Juve owners, and have been since 1923 I think. Also own 30% of Fiat.

Do you not think it could be because they want him to take over and are fishing for any kind of response?

The paper is owned by the Agnelli family? Hmm, the plot thickens as they say...

Who are the Agnelli family?

John Elkann is part of the family and is currently the chief patron of Juventus.

Apart from Fiat his company also owns Ferrari and Maserati.

Here's the link <a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Elkann" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Elkann</a>

Perhaps mancini will be a lot happier taking the shit from the Italian press than the shit he currently gets from the British papers.

The negative press continually undermining the confidence between him and players. The problems the players have or had with his training regime. You must have noticed.

I don't think he get a rough ride from the press particularly.

Have you any examples of this?

the players was fuming with the training he was doing is utter bollocks.

There are too many to point out. They are mostly bollocks (as mentioned above) but I'm pretty sure he finds the whole negative thing very disappointing. This may influence his decision to leave.
