Mancini v Pellegrini so far ......

It takes time to introduce a new system and have players gel together to play how Pellegrini wants. I do love the new unpredictable and attacking football we're playing though.

Mancini won his first 4 games, having never managed in this country with no pre season and with Leslie's players on a bad run.

Just saying

The time to judge is in may.

No... I agree this thread may be a tad premature but MAY FFS.... when we're mid-table and out of the CL and FA Cup.

Pellegrini can be judged on a game by game basis.

So far for me 3/10.

Ever the optimist eh?
No, just saying that to leave judgement to May is too late.

I am wholly unimpressed with what I have witnessed do far, lets hope he can "flick the switch">

Coming to the Premier League as a foreign manager is not easy particularly at one of the top four clubs. The expectation for RM was probably less than that for MP as City had not won anything for decades.

MP will have done an outstanding job if he wins anything in his first season let alone the Premier League or Champions League. He is lucky in that our main rivals are also in transition.

TBH I think that Manyoo's experience or Mourinho's talent for boring 1-0 wins will allow one of them to win the league this year.

I will be delighted if MP and the City players prove me wrong.
