Is there any need for fucking snidey bastard comments like that?

Its alright mate, I feed on creeps like him.

I knew we'd lose at Everton, we always do. Losers mentality. 15 points behind United and out of the title race in February, still second is wonderful. Losers mentality. Shite again in the Champs League, but who cares about the Champs League anyway. Losers mentality. Look on the bright side, we're still in the fa cup. Losers mentality.

What gets me is do they honestly believe that Soriano, Txiki and Khaldoon think the same way?

Like fuck they will.

Exactly, if Mancini thought he was a goner last year when we won the title at the last second, then he must surely know the writing is on the wall this year.

Us arguing amongst ourselves won't change that one bit.

Anyone who can't see we now need a change to progress, is a sentimentalist at best, or at worst as you said, a loser with a loser's mentality.

Maybe I still see things the old way, going from 1st place to mid table is my take on real regression, not 1st to 2nd..

It's a bit harsh to portray anybody who thinks Mancini should be given another year as having a losers mentality mate.
Although there are signs that all is not well, it's not like we've had a complete meltdown and have slipped out of the CL places.
This season on the whole has been poor, there's no getting away from that. It's disappointing to be 15 points behind Utd, the champions league and CC exits were woeful and some of our performances in the league require serious attention. That said, unless there is a top top manager available to replace him, keeping him for another year, where hopefully he'll have a fully fit squad to choose from would make sense - the only reason it wouldn't is if, as alluded to by some on here he's lost the respect of some of the playing staff. Personally I've no idea if he has or hasn't, but if the players are still behind him then 12 more months wouldn't be the disaster some would have you believe.
Whatever decisions are made at the end of the season, I trust the owners and chairman, along with our new DoF to get it right and I'll support it either way.

Mancini like last season is no doubt making sure his future is sorted.
The admission of talks with Monaco last season showed how concerned he was about keeping his job.
He wont publicly admit anything, but Mancini will be looking after Mancini, and rightly so.
Is the Roma job still available or have they got a new guy in now?

I posted in the week that we could still win the title,so do please get your facts right. I still think we can win the FA cup.

Not losers mentality at all...Can anyone on here hand on heart seeing the team yesterday think we could win ?? I just got that feeling, I didnt want it but there it was.. and I was proved right, and I gladly posted my views on here..its the first time Ive ever thought wed lose since Bob came to us..Everton are a tough gutsy side and at full strength we'd find it hard to do em.
same with the champs league, we drew groups of death for two consecutive years and I believed we were not strong enough or ready for it... I want the best for City just like everyone else but we are not there yet.. maybe it is Bobs fault and im too blind to see it, but im sticking by the manager and if that makes me a loser then fair do's.

Just my speculation but if i was to give Bobbie a brief at the start of the season it would have been something like this.

Retain the title or at least be in contention right to the end. ( Failed )
Progress to the 1/4 finals of the champions league ( Failed )
Demonstrate continuous improvement on the pitch ( Failed )
Develop and strenghten the squad ( Failed imho )
Contend for the Fa or League cup ( on track )
Develop players from the youth team ( Failed )

Doesn't look good and i am a supporter of Mancini, i don't want to see him go but i can't see anything other than a change now.

It was harsh but I did very deliberately use the word seem and was being deliberately provocative.

My comment wasn't about thinking Mancini should be given a another year but about appearing to accept that losing to Everton was to be expected and viewing regression as dropping to mid-table as opposed to being 2nd and 15 points behind the Rags.

Bayern, Napoli and Villarreal is nowhere near a group of death, its an hard group but that's what you expect in the champions league. I'll agree that we got a group of death this year but if we can't beat the likes of Ajax and Napoli then we are never going to go far in the competition.

The defence of our title was over with effectively a third of the season still to play and anyone thinking that's acceptable is deluded imo.

We have completely surrendered our crown and yes, the rags have done the business and yes, we might still have gone on to lose it too them but ffs, a third of the season and its over?

Just not good enough and we all know it.
