the abuse he gets on here is out of order and i would hate to see what people would say if he had won us fuck all

abuse?

whatever anyone says (and i don't agree with all of it) it isn't personal.

billy and dave criticise his managing ability, and that's their opinion.

and if he'd won us fuck all, he wouldnt be here.

Drawing at Liverpool is not a bad result, yes losing at Sunderland and Everton prenially is most annoying but do these 2 games per season and a lack of cl knockout football really warrant a change of manager 3yrs into a 5yr project.
Surely you can see that consistantly failing in the champions league and consistantly failing in those fixtures shows that he cannot adjust his game and once plan A is found out that's it he's had it.

I have highlighted the error..We have been in the champions league for all of 2 seasons..not 20 like the rags...How long did it take the rags to get out of the group stage??? We are not consistently failing, just having to failed for 2 seasons..Last year we were unlucky with 10pts..This yr was a fucking tough group and Dortmund/Madrid were always favourites to get through and they are still in the last 8.
patience is a virtue..Not many on here have it

We barely put up a fight though in the group stages this year, comprehensibly outplayed in arguably 4 of the 6 games.

We actually looked better in the Madrid games.

Buts it's not an error. He has failed twice with us but has also failed another 5 times with Italian teams.

Fuck it-lets just go back to the Alan Ball,Stuart Pearce days of utter mediocracy and winning jack shit hey because Mancini has made a few mistakes in europe and against the blue dippers.

Mancini gets unwarranted abuse on here. I know many a rag who hopes he does get the chop because they know he has rattled Fergie and they think with a little more backing he will come strong again next year.
This year hasn't exactly been a disaster has it?

I would say if a straw poll was taken re Mancini the outers would be approx 10% and the inners 90%

And I would say you're talking out of your arse

I also know many more who are praying he stays!

Blue dippers, Red dippers, Sunderland, Stoke.. Got to go to Swansea yet!

Drawing at Liverpool is not a bad result, yes losing at Sunderland and Everton perenially is most annoying but do these 2 games per season and a lack of cl knockout football really warrant a change of manager 3yrs into a 5yr project.

I am also frustrated by results and performamces against these teams. For the sake of balance - Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea were also bogey teams and we have done OK against them in the last year or two. That is we are 2nd in the league and Champions.

Some superb posts in here amongst the shite.

If you feel strongly that Mancini should go at the end of this term does anyone fancy putting together a piece for the Daisy Cutter about it?

If so get in touch via PM.
Get someone who will actually write about the subject this time. Last time didn't go so well.

It certainly isn't an error. As a pointer, Mancini (the manager) has presided over something like 29 away games in Europe.....and won just 3. Of these, 1 was against Villareal's reserve team and another was against the mighty Salzburg Redbulls. His European record, given the funding he's had and the size of the clubs he's been at, is absolutely dire. And there's a good reason for it. The reason for this whole debate in fact. The lack of adaptability once his team's preferred modus operandii has been sussed......

Lets be honest we were beating Chelsea and Arsenal at home when Hughes was here.
