The Champions League has been a disappointment - however that's down to the groups we've been drawn in!
I'd go as far as to say that I don't believe any of the English teams would have qualified from either of our groups.
the thing is we didnt win a single game, we should of beaten ajax twice.

And a scratch Dortmund.

Lets be honest we were beating Chelsea and Arsenal at home when Hughes was here.

In the odd game at home but not on a regular basis. Wins away at Arsenal and Spurs had been very rare also.

The two plausible criticisms of Mancini are his poor CL record (a fact) and that he falls out with people - including doctors and some players. Some argue this shows a lack of adapatabiliy but Khaldoon and the Sheikh knew we needed a stong character to challange the Rags. Yes our leadership needs to be flexible and this was shown in Roberto's mind games that battered Fergie and the Rags last year - as well as making mugs out of that great institution - the British press. Off course we had given up on the league.

To most fans who go to the game and sing his name (but vlearly mot all) these are more than offset at the moment by the domestic trophies we are winning. If we don't improve in the CL then no doubt the City hierarchy will review but please mo knee jerk reactions. As others have said, we are 2nd in the league and going to Wembley so there is plenty still to go for.
So you believe his continued failure to beat certain teams in the league which as more teams figure us out that number ever increases isn't a plausible criticism?

maybe the players should be held a little more accountable? Everton and Sunderland are bogey teams. It does not justify sacking Mancini

What do you think ?

Get fucked! That's what I think!

Not an 'upgrade' on Mancini... and if the barca boys think so... then they should pack their bags as well!

Course the players are partly to blame. But it starts at the top. Playing Everton away 4 times & Sunderland away 3 times and losing every time shows along with the CL Mancini is unable to adapt once he is found out. The same can be said for the draw each year at Stoke and Liverpool.

I agree. We have missed a lot of chances in those Sunderland games and I am afraid that Joe has not distinguished himself in goals.

There is probably a combination of factors including player performances, missing key players and yes you can argue the Roberto hasn't got the best out of the 11 on the pitch every time. Not many managers do. Rags were calling for Baconface's head at the end of last season

This really is hard to credit.
So it makes sense to replace the only manager of a Manchester club to win two trophies in his first three years with a man who spent £250 million on four players at Real and has won nothing?
Can anyone please explain,in laymans terms, exactly why this would be a good idea?

Disappointed Mancini still hasn't put anything out about the game, i'm a big fan of him but it would be nice if only for the fans to hear his take on the weekend.

As someone who believes there's better options out there than Mancini, I don't really understand this link either.

I know his style of play is highly thought of but, to me, this wouldn't be an "upgrade" as such.
