It isn't rumours or hearsay. It's stone cold fucking fact.

Show me then these stone cold facts then. I don't think that is too much to ask.

As if I would on here.

I will give you the tip of the iceberg as it's in the public domain. This article is directly from Manchester City and tells a tenth of the real story. I've been told that real story, but I'm not saying any more.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2326322/Roberto-Mancini-revealed-The-Manchester-City-dressing-room-battles-sacking.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... cking.html</a>

So the Daily Mail is now the gospel eh?
Laughable. Absolutely fucking laughable you are.

I honestly believe there is one thing holding Mancini back from being one of the best in the business and that is maturity. He lets his fieriness get the better of him and he's like a kid at times unable to resist the temptation of a bust up or fight. He's the managing version of Craig Bellamy. He was brilliant for a couple of years for us and I am truely grateful for what he did for us but I am glad he's no longer here. The likes of Kompany, Silva, Aguero, Nasri and many others seem like the best kind of professionals so if they have problems with it then that's good enough for me.

All opinion, of course.

You realise it's actually impossible for Pellers to have won a trophy for us at this stage?

And to be fair, we're challenging on three more fronts than we were this time last year.

But you go ahead and call other posters stubborn.

We have ONE more point in the league compared to this time last season. Hardly earth shattering after spending £100m

on who though ? are you happy with Fern, Negredo, Navas ? prefer that than £40 mill on players who shouldn't be near the squad, also not just better points total, cup final and out of a CL group

Comparing transfers is pretty much irrelevant as the way the club operates, in relation to recruitment, has totally evolved.

If Mancini had got the players he wanted it would have been RVP, Hazard and Martinez/De Rossi. Not his fault the club was unable to recruit them so at least make a fair comparison. Personally I am happy with the players this season and would have been delighted with the players previously targeted.

He brought us some our best days as a fans but he is gone and rightly so - The man was a PR dream - he was great for people who didn't have to deal with him on a daily basis. Doesn't matter how much money you earn but everybody has a right to be treated well. We are all human beings after all. The man caused too many fires.

People compare him to Mourinho or Ferguson, he is nothing like them. Both those keep their players and team onside - its all about the group to them. Unfortunately he ran out of friends.

my message to him would be - Good luck for whatever you do from now on, thanks for the memories but keep yer fucking gob shut about the club - move on as we have

Wished the club kept quiet when we were using the press to slag him off.

Wish he kept quiet now that he is gone.
Aye, that's the one. We should have kept quiet, so should he. They both look like mugs now, just that Mancini is the slightly more justified mug.

Yep. Pretty much nails it.
Exactly,as bad a each other.

The split views on this forum confirm that Mancini was a divisive figure. I also think he was the right man at the right time for City. We needed a strong manager to sort out the ill-disciplined rabble that Hughes had presided over. I was also glad when he left because, whatever we think of those players who leaked to the media, (and most of us deep down know who they are) Mancini had lost the dressing room. Time will tell if Pellegrini will win things at City (perhaps he is too nice a person) We have played brilliant football this season, probably the best I have ever seen, but can Pellegrini get us over the line? Certainly Mourhinho is a ruthless nasty piece of work and I despise his style of football but, like baconface, you can't argue with his success. We will have to wait and see. Winning the League Cup will calm things down and improve our chances of winning the Title.

Mancini was a top bloke and a top manager.
He wasn't a "top bloke" to the people he worked with. That was the problem.

Does anyone on here seriously care if he doesn't smile at the tea lady?

All this supposed "ITK" stuff is awfully convenient imo

Well, I spoke to someone who is most definitely in the know a few weeks ago in the Directors' Lounge at the Fulham v City game; someone senior who worked with Mancini and he said that whatever I had heard, Mancini was many many times worse to work with.

This thread has taken a disappointing turn. Pellegrini's record is irrelevant when it comes to Mancini.

No they don't. Even the likes of BillyShears admits Mancini was popular amongst the vast majority of fans.

Mancini is doing himself no favours with these interviews.
Draw a line under it Mancini and move on FFS.

If my employer sacks me tomorrow and gives me £10M I wont be bad-mouthing anyone!

My point is its human nature to moan if you feel you have been harshly treated.it was the clubs fault for giving him a 5yr contract that they had to pay up on
They paid him for 2 which was in the contract. I think the club expected him to keep his mouth shut and they would do the same. I also think they will respond somehow and certain journalists will be briefed or given the nod to release stuff they've been told. If so, he won't come out of it well. He should have kept quiet.
Neither the club nor Mancini can demand or expect anything from the other.
