But if you think I put four strikers on and we score four goals, it is not true.

"All supporters are like this, in England and Italy. I must think like a manager. We can play wide, get the ball into the box, then we can score.

"Supporters just think why don't you put more strikers in the box, two, three, four, five.

I don't know or talk to any city fan who thinks like this, and to come out with crap like this is insulting.

you mr mancini earn a kings ransom, the fans part with a lot of money and deserve better than the dire spectacle that is currently on offer.

Fuck off.

as in?

'We can play wide, get the ball into the box, then we can score'!!!!
I can't believe he said that. He plays wingers on their wrong side, so all they can usually do is cut inside instead of crossing. We'll not see many crosses from them, will we?
How many times are we getting crosses from our supposedly overlapping full-backs? Not many and if they did, who would be on the end of them, tiny Tev or Silva (both terrific players, but not likely to win much in the air)
It can't be any big secret that to beat a packed defence, you need pace and the ability to stretch the defenders wide across the pitch, not to feed the ball through the middle by way of eight defenders and hope to walk it in the net!

I'm fast losing faith.

Some posts have mentioned our manager's past successes. Well, remember the times in the past when we have taken on 'successful managers' like John Bond, Howard Kendall and Kevin Keegan. What success they brought us, eh?

I loved the way that Mancini turned our crappy defence around when he first arrived, but to play,in effect, seven defenders, at home, to a bottom three side is almost unbelievable and unforgivable.

It's not the first time I've read this seven defenders shit.

Are we re-inventing tactics to make Mancini seem more defensive than he is.

Who were the seven defenders?

you'd have to be ignorant to think that subbing a forward for a forward is the only way to create goal scoring opportunities. And anyone who is baffled by Barry being brought on clearly doesn't understand football.

Mancini is right.

Isn't it condescending for our Fans to be telling him he doesn't know what he's doing? And telling him, a manager and former player how to play the game?

I don't blame Mancini for such a comment, I'd be irritated by sections of our support due to their conduct as of late.

Who were the seven defenders?

Ok, the usual four, plus Toure and De Jong and quite often, Milner, too.
I'll amend that to six and a half at a stretch. But at home? To Birmingham, who had eight in defence?
Explain it.

Right, so if you try to defend at all you are a defender.

Why not include Tevez?
